BRIDGERTON SEASON 2 RECAP! I DON'T LIKE ANTHONY BRIDERTON... 

I guess I'm in the minority, but I liked this season better that the first. I liked the first, but I wasn't blown away. I'm not in love with this one either, but I liked it. I guess it's good for what it is.🤷🏿‍♀️

I loved this season more than the first. I like all of the characters and appreciate how they highlighted the heavy weight and expectations that can be placed on the first born. Great review!

I was a debutante too. 16. Very elaborate dress included haha. I liked season 2 and was happy for Kate + Anthony in the end but I want to see how Edwina ends up marrying too. She really got the short end of the stick.

I agree with your review. I thought Kate was absolutely gorgeous. I kept saying that as I watched the season. This season was a bit disappointing because I honestly thought Anthony was after Kate the entire time but was using the sister to make Kate jealous. I just felt like I sensed they both were attracted to one another but they got on each other’s nerves. It wasn’t until he actually proposed to Edwina that I’m like oh wow you going full steam ahead with this. I relate to Anthony as the oldest in the family having to be responsible for everything. It affects one more than we’d like to admit and frankly it’s too much unsolicited responsibility. I’m kinda tired of the featheringtons at this point but their storyline was much more interesting this time around. Penelope needs a different color dress and maybe Collin can really take notice of her. That yellow has got to go. Eloise and the paperboy was also a weird story. Not sure if she likes him more than a friend or not. It would be silly for her to fall in love that quick after having resisted love and marriage for this long. All in all I was routing for Anthony and Kate and was so annoyed with the back and forth. I was like if one of them say yes/no one more time, I am going to scream. Not that they would hear me but I would’ve felt better 😆 Also it was a plot twist how Edwina got all independent over the span of 20 min. Like damn girl you mature quickly lol. I personally like the tension and how they dragged it out - I was pretty obsessed hahahaha

I was low key disappointed cause I thought it was gone give a little more I was fell asleep had to watch the episodes again like twice or so then finally nothing ...at least not like season one for as long we had to wait just wish it would have given more heat😊

I felt like Kate and Anthony's heavy breathing was really annoying it wasn't until after the dinner fight scene. That I actually locked in and felt a sexual chemistry and was sadly disappointed when it never went through until the end. I literally had no idea how Kate was able to be alone with Anthony so many times when Daphne was forced to marry. I understand that she's older and she's a spinster but at the same time she's still a virgin and a lady. Anthony was having sex throughout the entirety of season 1 but in season 2 he barely even had a sex scene.

Finally watched this then immediately came to your vid! I agree about not liking Anthony but his back story did endear him to me much more. And I had the same thoughts about pall mall!

I didn’t like the main couple this season because of Anthony as a character. I think I watched season one and two too close together. I’m like , “ I have to root for him and he is a f boy!?!?” And Eloise and Penelope became grating this season.

I loved Kate and Anthony thanks to Simone and Jonny putting so much in the roles despite limited shared scenes and awful (sometimes non-existent) writing. They gripped me immediately so I skipped past the forced dumb love triangle and the worst contrived drama that made about as much sense as ruby mines in Georgia. Eloise and Benedict are still the best siblings!

This recap is Too Funny! I didn't like Anthony in season 1 either, he lost me when he wanted Daphne to marry Nigel Berbrooke knowing what her wifely "duties" would include. Season 2 Anthony won me over cause he's my trauma bond buddy, I understood his crazy a lil bit LOL I didn't like the Love Triangle with Sisters at all...and my uncle definitely smoked "Paul Mauls" when I was a little girl lol

i agree with you that there bickering was too long too many episodes i wanted to see them actually together for more episodes but overall i really liked season 2

Season 2 was very…not great lol I really wanted to like this show but so far both seasons have been just really boring for me. I can’t even have that much of an opinion on any of the characters because I don’t even care enough to really dissect it. I’m not entirely sure why this show is as huge as it is. Once again though you make it worth watching you’re the only person I’m subscribed to on both my RU-vid’s lol : D thank you for posting!!!!

I hv read the book and liked the show better than the book somehow...i think in a world full of sex it's also important to show romance and the slow burn was wht made Pol like it.. though PPL do hv two opp opinion few loved it n few liked the book better....but i understand whre he came frm he thght he was gonna die so didn't want hai wife to be sad after his death hence wanted no feelings attached whch is quite silly .He didn't want to fall in love so the moment he thght he actually is falling fr Kate he panicked n proposed Edwina ...Jonathan Bailey could seduce people through screen thts what the popular opinion is rt now 😂😀 staring was intense .

Season two was pure soap opera cliche, if I could roll my eyes any harder I would have been tasting them. The Featheringtons and Eloise brought the energy because Anthony and his situation did not, the Queens wigs did give me life though.

Yes! When you said the tension between Kate/Anthony could have been limited to 2 episodes instead of dragging it on and on, I agree! 🥱😩 I was thinking this season could have been 5 episodes or they could have explored some of the other plots.
