THAT'S IT?! Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 Recap!! 

Girl, this season was all over the place! Somebody get Shonda on the line! We had Benedict shaking and trembling, like he wasn’t at a Pride party in season 1. Cressida and those damn TLC hairstyles. Just buns, braids, and brown gel everywhere! And poor Eloise nerves was so bad, she back outside smoking cigarettes on the swings! It was too much! 👏🏽

There was absolutely ZERO romance this season.

They could have taken the time spent on Benedict and that boring storyline and spent that on Polin. Also, in the first half, Cressida is sympathetic... then she is a villian...Eloise turned on her mad quick ..I don't know her....what? That totally flew in the face of the whole theme about women not having a voice and not being able to make their own decisions... So you all can't recognize a woman who's being kept down by her family and is that desperate... There was no understanding as to what was going on with her ...there was no empathy to get to the root of the problem. And what happened to Lord Debley... What you only paid that actor for the first 4 episodes and we're not supposed to notice that he's just gone.... And was there any point to having Anthony and his wife in the show ...I mean I felt like they were just set decoration.... Couldn't you tell a complete difference in quality and mood of the show from the first 4 episodes to the second.. Did they change writers or something? I'm gonna watch it again to see if my opinion changes but I'm kind of disappointed and Penelope is my favorite.

23:31 - "Wedding breakfast" is a UK term. It's not actually breakfast, it's a late lunch / early dinner. The word "breakfast" as used in the term doesn't mean "morning meal," it originates from religious terminology. Back in the day, before a wedding, the couple and guests would be fasting ahead of receiving communion at the church during the wedding service. The luncheon/early dinner served at the reception afterward "breaks the fast" essentially. It's still called a "wedding breakfast" in the UK today even though it makes absolutely no sense LOL! When I got married, my "wedding breakfast" began at 6pm. I'm SO very frustrated with the route the season took. It was my most anticipated season, my beloved Polin! This new showrunner ruined the show IMHO. I don't believe it can even be called a period series any longer. It's just a travesty.

I think it was Lady Danbury talking the Queen down again. Remember when she and the Queen were playing chess. The Queen said, you could have won the game, and LD said, yes but the game would have been over, and what's the fun in that? I think that's why she didn't come for Whistledown.

im polins number one fan and part 2 of this seasons biggest hater :/ where did Colin go in the last 2 episodes? how did he become a side character in HIS OWN season?!!! where did the balcony scene from the book go? where did the entire point of the seasons go...yknow the romance?? so weird and lackluster. we got like a good 3 short scenes of polin and a practicaly forced wedding...at least Kanthony got yearning and tension, we just got hate and "I'm a man of honor so ig I have to marry you" HELLO?

Chile, I'm scared to tell who Michaela is because it's going to give so much away! The new showrunner Jess whathername is about to really show her behind next season with how she's allowing the writers room to keep switching things up from the books!!!😨😨😨 By the way, I agree that they should have given us some more revelatory info on Colin to really show how his travels changed him- and how it made him wishy washy between trying to be his kind, sweet introspective self against his newly found playboy self. I made my peace with Mama Featherington after she had that talk with Penelope saying all she wanted to do was the best for her girls so they could set their lives up for themselves better than she was able to do for them. When she said she couldn't even manage to marry a man who would properly provide for his family, I felt bad for her ole crusty tail; you could feel the vulnerability and guilt she felt because she ended up marrying a buster . Lord Featherington didn't care a damn about the safety and security of his children and basically left Mama Featherington in survival mode for her and the kids for years, even before he died.

Colin did have skills. He wrote his book finally but they glossed right over that. Lady Cowpatty needed her ass waxed for fueling Cressida's issue of Lady Whistledown with Bridgerton theories. But the queen busting up in err'bodys function showing out, took me out!

This recap really cracked me up, the way you explained it. Colin needing to recharge his honour 😂 thank you. I'm kinda nervous for the future seasons cause they keep getting rid of the past couples, so eventually we're just gonna have Violet and Hyacinth alone in that drawing room lol. And I really miss the scenes when all the siblings are bantering.

I felt like this season was trash. They wasted three scenes that they could've used for polin on benedict sex scenes. In Benedict's book he gets into a side conversation with sophie where she asks him if he has had sex with men and he said yes but it wasn't a big part of the book. So I felt like they could have done like the beginning of the scene where they were about to do it and cut all the other scenes out. I dont't even understand why they made Eloise and Cressida friends if they didn't even hint she was swingin the other way. The books don't even have them as friends so..I was confused.. They had too much of the viscount in this season..wasted my time. It almost seemed like they were purposely trying to have as little of polin on screen as they could. There was a whole scene in the book where she is dancing in a courtyard and he sees her from afar where they could have built that anticipation but they didnt have it in the show. I got complaints, comments, and concerns about michael, I mean Michaela. The book on audible is amazing and I'm sorry but no. I don't even want to watch the show anymore. Francesca wants babies in the book and that is a huge part of the book so I dont even know how they gonna do that. This was the best book too. Ummm..ruined. I'm so mad cuz here we had a woman more curvy than the rest so they had the opportunity to really make this shine and instead we got trash. I just thought to myself who in the world wrote this season cuz they need to be fired. Ooo I'm out here mad. Were the outfits great, yes, but could the show have been ten times better, yes.

Michaela Sterling is going to be knocking boots with Francesca. In the books, the character was Michael Sterling and Francesca's second husband, but Jess, the showrunner gender swapped the character because they wanted a Bridgerton to have a main queer love story. season 3 seemed so rushed, coming from the queen charlotte episodes to this I was disappointed. It wasn't bad but it could have been wayyyyy better the characters deserved more, I needed more hunching scenes and all , they just threw it to us and said " here damn " like they just wanted to get the season out.

I thought Penelope got pregnant after the first night they had sex. Because ending credits showed her and her sisters babies & her sisters were a few months pregnant during the show. And the babies don’t look but about a few months a part🤷🏽‍♀️

I didn’t enjoy this season AT ALL!! There should’ve been more of buildup of Penelope and Colin relationship (I guess that’s his name)like they did for previous couples it just fell flat. I’m lost on the other sister and the black guy plus the mother/black guy and the other brother and girl /guy situation too much was going on.Even the Queen didn’t bring it this season neither did Lady Danbury and they are my faves .Cressida ,her momma and Eloise got on my nerves.
