Times are changing. Higher education is being measured on how many students land job opportunities post graduation not just being able to graduate.

Great video. Have worked on both sides of externships with Matt and team and have found them to be extremely beneficial, to both students and organizations.

One way to monetize would be to charge some amount ($500?) to students if they get full time offer from one of the companies they did externship with. I think students will be happy to pay it.

Jason always interrupts guests in the middle of their sentence and doesn’t let them finish even after he’s done talking. Molly used to be a counter weight to this but now, he’s surrounded by yes men

Jason is quite brilliant. When he does this, he's imparting over 1,500 combined years of deep insight, know-how and wisdom into the mix. And to do all of that inside of a small interruption is super human. And very much appreciated. He's like an LLM ... in a meat bag. And he let's it rip when it's most needed. Now let us give thanks. Are you for real? Completely flipping the labour equation and discussing potentially charging, in exchange for someone (intern) to deliver a service (i.e. work for a company)? This is ridiculous. The elephant in the room, which our good friend and resident genius Matty failed to mention is that this is a supply-demand problem. What he is doing is providing this experience to 1000s of students, who will all inevitably compete for the same pool of finite full time jobs. This solves nothing. Absolute joke, putting students further behind financially and a false illusiuon that it will build networks. it won't. The market is being more commoditised by dumb-innovations like this
