I had the same issue as Angel trying to put carb back on. Choke link and throttle link placement, as I forgot to take pics before removing it. Your video saved the day! Thank you!!
Mine has a linkage on the top of the car raider as well. But don't remember where it hooks to with the Spring. Do you have any pictures that you could send thank you for your help
Same engine but my riding mower has a manual choke control lever on the mower's console. Doesn't yours? When I move my throttle lever, just that roundish thing moves, nothing else. So is my situation different than yours - since I DO have a manual choke lever and am not having starting issues? My problem is: having my throttle lever at high or low makes no diference in rpm's. Is this a related issue that you are demonstrating?
Mine has auto choke, via a vane that is above the carb, to the left. It is normally closed, but opened when the flywheel is spinning and the fan on the flywheel blows the vane.
my Briggs and Stratton vtwin engine is revving to high. Will the governor arm not lift the throttle back to idle unless the engine is running? Thank you for your help.
Let me guess, you put a new carburetor on and now it only throttles up when is it supposed to throttle down and throttle down when it's supposed to throttle up. Next time, take pictures or study the linkage of the throttle setup on this video.
The dashpot does not seem to be connected to the plastic on the LH linkage. Is this correct? When the linkage moves up and down the dashpot lever never actuates.
