So awesome you made it back on Brightline. As always thanks for uploading and spending time making these videos 👍🏼 grew up in California riding the metro link systems.
With electrification and S train acceleration 125mph EMU's, Brightline could make dozens of stops in Florida, and still keep a competitive travel time, instead of their current very slow accelerating diesel trains. And the US in general, with it's low top speeds, could really benefit from this, and more realistically, DMU's with fast acceleration, instead of so many loco hauled trains.
@@KingAsa5 Texas Central can still build the HSR but they just have to wait for the Tx Supreme Court decision. If they side with Texas Central, they might be able to build it if they can get the funding.
Hello I live in Orlando have been following bright line construction update on roaming rail fan cannot wait for bright line to run from Orlando to Miami I also watch action kid he posted a video today riding metro rail from MIA to government center and then over to downtown Miami and I thought I bet someone has really good videos out there of stuff like this and I found your channel really high quality video great views then I found this bright line video also Tri-Rail
Awesome and thank you! Yes, Action Kid has some great videos around South Florida and NYC. I’m looking forward in riding Brightline between Miami and Orlando. Ya’ll are lucky to have a wonderful train service. Hopefully they will open sooner.
My dream is to have a place is west palm beach so I can take brightline to Miami or to the Orlando Tampa area. It seems so perfect to me. Thank you brightline for making this possible. Driving sucks!!!
I also want to point out that Universal said they were willing to donate land to Brightline for them to make a station near the Orlando convention center which is right by Universal Studios, Seaworld and others. So they are likely going to work on that followed by the Disney expansion, and then tampa. While building stations in Boca, and Aventura.
26:33 This intersection is NW 39th Street. On the other side of the train (west) is Design and Architecture Senior High School (DASH) the top design and architecture magnet school in the county. The tracks the train is riding on used to be the faculty parking lot.
I rode Brightline from WPB to FTL when that was the only part open and was impressed. Rode Smart class one way and Premium the other. The latter is great, but the basic class is just fine. I love the fold-down cell-phone shelf in the seatback! I do think that they should add stations in Cocoa (near the north end of the FEC portion) and Fort Pierce (to split the distance to WPB). The added stations will add little to the trip time and greatly improve the line's utility.
80mph is actually just under 130km/h. I had to point that out because 50km/h is the standard suburban speed limit in most of Australia, just under 30mph.
@@xoxxobob61 There's still a few miles of track to finish as far as I'm aware. Plus these are still missing 3 more locomotives that expected to be delivered to brightline by December 2022
Clean, efficient and affordable mass public transport is just a normal infrastructure in other countries and not a cause for celebration. Unfortunately, in the US, the government's priority isn't its citizens but car manufacturers.
Quick note, at 23:33 you said 80 mph (50kmh) which is obviously not a correct conversion. I believe the trains top speed in that section is 79 mph which would mean if it was going top speed in that section then it would be around 130 kmh
