Shame that's there's not more EE motor sounds or more close up of the SUB n BIL.. Although I have seen footage of them together at Seaford.😊

They were running around Ore to Brighton Summer 94 as I was at Bexhill one Sunday afternoon and the Sub rolled in!!!

I meant when were the 401s and 405s withdrawn from the Seaford branch? Did they operate any other coastline services at that time?

The 401's were in service from 1935 to 1969 and the 405's 1941-1983

Very different now

As far as I can remember, they only worked the branch for two or three summers. I am sure that they worked other services, maybe railtours during this period too but I cannot give you specifics. Maybe someone else can help here.
