Nice Gambia don’t know much about Brikama but I heard there is great deal of history is this town and a lot of prominent Well known Gambians who hail from this place

This is really sad, sometimes I think the Gambia is cursed! The degradation is really unacceptable, with this amount of poverty, the president thinks it's okay to not address the amount of corruption in the country !

I love the Gambia, I just got back home from a month's vacation there. Brikama is a mess. There are so many businesses there and people selling fruits and vegetables and many other items. The people need to come together and clean it up and not wait on the Government to do it. The place is very busy and nasty water and mud everywhere how you are selling fish, fruits, and vegetables with flies flying everywhere. Yall got to care more about your continent and stop saying oh this Africa. I have great things to say about the Gambia when i came home all my family want to come . The only problem I have is how yall are okay with the filth too many people sitting around doing nothing when they can be cleaning the place up. You don't have to live like that they choose to. It will be very nice to get people together and have a cleanup day every week to have a clean marketplace

I totally agree with what you said, I think it's a mentality issue the mindset really needs to change....,.people normalizes bad behaviors or in another word they don't seems to find way to improve the surrounding. I try my best anytime I'm home but it's hard

TRUE.The people cannot keep waiting and blaming the Government all the time.It is time the people living and working in the area come together and organise themselves and clean up the town,especially the town centre on a regular basis

It's good you see how it looks now so that we know how much the environment changed in the next few decades. Emerging someone did this videos for us 30 years ago when this area was a bush 😊.
