So nice to see someone using a 4 way toolpost the way they are supposed to be used, instead of a QCTP. Having said that I've upgraded my lathe to a Dickson toolpost, so that I get the best of both worlds.

Obrigado! Bom dia, tem de retificar um mandril com um furo cónico para o rolamento cónico e fazer uma ranhura neste mandril e, em seguida, pode inserir este mandril no mandril do torno e inserir o rolamento cónico nele e fixar o mandril juntamente com o rolamento no mandril do torno e pode maquinar o furo interior do rolamento cónico.

The actual brilliant trick was pretending this wasn't simply a dye holder by tossing a boring bar into it for your thumbnail. No browny points for deceptive marketing.

And how are you going to thread up to a shoulder? You have no way of instantly releasing the die so that it stops threading at exactly the correct point. Back to the drawing board, Junior.
