I missed the latest Splatfest in order to create this dedicated stage music for Brinewater Springs, but it's alright since I was never a huge fan of chocolate anyway.

I've only heard a couple of people that really understood what makes Splatoon's music so unique and excellent. You are by far one of the best. I've loved everything you've put out, this being my favourite! Keep making what you love, man.

wtf i love the leitmotifs in this one??? they fit so well! Ones I could find: -Anarchy Rainbow little jingle (what the hell do you call it) -Ink Me Up 0:43, 1:30, and 2:29 -0:20 Might be a stretch but this sounds like Shark Bytes

That jingle shows up in Anarchy Rainbow but it's incorporated from Frye's solo. I debated whether its inclusion would fit the onsen theming, since Frye is technically Central Asian-coded as opposed to Japanese. But on the other hand, I just learned that Low Tide (the supposedly Japan-inspired redition of Tide Goes Out from Splatoon 2) uses instruments from China and Persia in its melody instead of anything remotely native, so to hell with it; it's too iconic to pass up. (I also temporarily forgot Shiver's music existed lol) Ink Me Up was originally gonna be a lot more prominent throughout, but that guitar going absolutely hogwild changed my mind. The Shark Bytes resemblance is a happy coincidence; it's actually sampled from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Watched an episode and immediately ran to concoct this theme.
