Hello! I'm a fledgeling composer, vocalist, and opera chorus member majoring in music theory and composition. I write, arrange, and mash-up music. I hope one day to make a career out of it.
Any of my work can be used with credit (collabs not included). In fact, I encourage you to use it! Otherwise, I will come to your house, knock on your door, and then leave.
It's based on other OST videos that list the in-universe performers and the out-of-universe composer of the song in question. Taro Yamada is the Japanese equivalent of the "John Doe" pseudonym, and "et al." refers to an additional contributor - namely, me.
I was thinking about this and I wanted to talk about it here. I wanted a tribute album for Octo Valley and Octo Canyon in the style of 2 Mello's "Memories Of Tokyo-To"....that's all
If you told someone that this was written and recorded by the Triumvirate during their long-forgotten indie pop phase, *why would anyone believe you?* 64.media.tumblr.com/f3f93cb3abaf07fda9361c7a25ef3140/3dbf07bc7fb79a83-c1/s1280x1920/94d99dfe6dc2b6bc04a245aeddbbbd35b6d1699a.pnj

More people need to hear your music, it's so damn good! I've listened to this so many times. Also thank you for sharing Aviivix's au by making music for it. I'm very glad to have found out about it. It was a really entertaining read!
Hands down my favorite work from you, everything about this is so amazing, and i really enjoy how this wouldnt really fit into any scenario we usually see in game, this is more a song an inkling would listen to while going for a walk or maybe smth that could pop up on the radio, really helps flesh out the idea that splatoon has a whole world outside of battles.
I didnt expect to sound this good and fit in with the Splatoon soundtrack so perfectly, might have to see your other stuff. Some of the best fan music I've heard 👍
I absolutely love the bongos and electric guitar combined with the Octoling Rendezvous samples, it’s a brilliant combination that tells you everything you need to know without outright saying you’re going up against some dangerous Octoling youths.
Fun fact: that's actually percussion from Indian _dappankuthu,_ (lit. “drum punch”) which has grown into the street-pop staple of Kollywood (not to be confused with Bollywood or Tollywood). Since the heavily-processed samples of Octoling Rendevous are so Indian-flavored to begin with, the collapse of the Octavian regime (along with Octo Valley civilization itself, *quite literally* ) means these inspirations are free to finally "let loose," so to speak. (I'm a bit worried that the common interpretation will be that these Octolings are "wild" because of all the blistering foreign percussion. Really, they're just trying to get by in a world that has failed them. Think less Mad Max, more East Germany.)
@@GlassesFreekJr.I feel like it all sounds way too put-together for most people to come to that conclusion. If anything, the people in Octo Valley probably can’t afford to act “wild” because of how high the stakes are in their lives.
