@@MrMarmaduke09 my favourite Adam shankman movie next to Cheaper by the Dozen 2, Hairspray and A Walk to Remember. He has produced and directed a lot of great movies despite they’re underrated
I remember when I first saw this scene in theaters I truly was crying laughing.. Queen and Martin were so great in this movie... it’s sad that they don’t make comedies like this anymore smh.
So I discovered this film for the first time on Prime. It was interesting seeing how many scenes would not fly if they were released today lol, but it had me smiling throughout. Queen Latifah & the kids stole the show.
@NorthPhilly-zr7xc No it didn't. If it wasn't for PC culture, Black Americans would still be being portrayed using everything from blackface to mammies. "PC culture" 🙄 is just societal values improving. Good comedy evolves, bad comedy doesn't.
This movie is just fire. "mmm mama", scraps on a plate for Ivy 😂😂😂 God bless 2000's comedy. This, white chicks and so many others are just absolute treasure.
Just finished watching this 🤣🤣🤣 haven't this since I was about 11 years old. Learned some stuff actually watching it at 28. More hilarious now than back then
Ahhhh this movies a classic, just one of those movies you never get sick of, you can watch it any mood and enjoy it everytime, ahhhh 2003 😢😭, the nostalgia just hits harder as I get older, they also don't make movies like this anymore, and had such a huge childhood crush on kimberly j brown lol, she was smoking hot then and still is now, aged like fine 🍷🥂,
As much as I loved the actors and the whole interaction, I couldn't keep my eyes off of William while they were served Jambalaya. As if asking where is his plate of food, it smells so good!
Joan plowright was absolutely brilliant in this, she made this scene, to say the least, when I first saw this movie I truly was crying so hard from laughter it isn't funny lol mmmmmmmmm mama lol
Kimberly J Brown and Queen Latifah’s reaction when she said “You know, there’s a lovely, sad…negro spiritual” 🤣😂😂 Currently been having this movie on replay since the last 2 weeks of December.
