You're never too old to put your perfume in a Hello Kitty container and the Lost Cherry in the Lego cubby is perfect. I'll be 32 in August and love what boring people call "childish" stuff. I also still laugh at "bhole" and farts. The other night I was watching an interrogation (off subject but all I heard was "discharge color"...tf, Theresa? 🤣👏) video and the detective asked if the guy would give a buccal swab. Well, I was taking a drink right when suspect said "a bhole swab?!" Orange Crush came out of my nose and I couldn't stop laughing for a good ten mins. He was terrible so I felt bad I laughed that hard but I couldn't help it... as soon as I heard it all hope was lost... and soda was everywhere. Oh yeah, I giggled at the Glossier nipple lip liner too... even though its a cool concept to match lip products to nips. Not Discharge Mary! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 🥝💚🖤

You're definitely right about Oslo L1C being a better match for you than anything in the L2.5 range. I feel you on the complexion shade matching struggle. The lightest shade in most lines is usually still a hair too dark and definitely too peach/pink/gold (especially in drugstore brands) for my just-this-side-of-green jaw and neck. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly is the closest match I've found because, yes, it's very fair, but it's also slightly grey and I'm the color of drywall with a pulse. Most neutral shades are way too saturated and make me look I'm using peach crayon on my face. I'm baby, so it took me until the age of 38 to have the internet to explain the concept of very fair olive skin to me.

Just wanted to say thank you for the update about your shade in the NARS. I have eyeballed their foundations for a while - particularly the Soft Matte because I am a human oilslick who runs EXTREMELY hot, so anything glowy is a giant no for me. But because those suckers are expensive here in Canada, I could never bring myself to pull the trigger. You and I are very similar shades (hello, fellow cool-toned uncooked chicken 👋), but most foundations oxidise on me (again, walking spaceheater 👋). In previous videos, you had said you were shade 2.5 Yukon in NARS foundations, and I always thought that looked way too dark for me, and then I knew it would oxidise even darker. So, to hear that you're not a Yukon but an Oslo, that makes more sense to me. I appreciate it! Maybe in the fall Sephora sale, I'll actually try a foundation now!

Watching you use the Dior Airflash was UNCANNY because that's exactly how I feel about it!!! Down to the shade and having to finesse it (I use a couple dabs of white mixer) aaaand not really caring that it's wrong because it's just so dang beautiful 😂 I will forever still hold out hope that they're just reformulating (for the better, although I can't imagine how it could be) and will bring it back with a better shade range!

I have French Rose which is a perfect bubblegum pink with a really pretty sheen, not a highlighter but not flat. It also builds super easily for those who like a lot of blush 😊 You would love it.

Oh no why did I look? Pretty much everything is back in stock. Oh and their blushes etc.. are refillable so in the UK the blush is £33 a refill is £27. So I'm not sure how the refill is packed but if you can close the packaging you only need to buy one full price blush and just swap them out. There is no metal so a magnetic palette wouldn't work.

The hourglass highlight trio is my holy grail and I use it regularly. I even bought a backup and its in the box waiting. My oldest product I still have is probably my Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani blush and eyeshadow palettes. I don't use them but I'll never get rid of them.

This is a really helpful series for me. I don't wear makeup every day, since I work in a print shop warehouse and wear clothes with holes to work and I'm still kind of new to collecting and technique. It's nice to not just be pointed to a product that works well for 6 months, but something that can sit in my cabinet until next summer half-used and not separate into ketchup water or go stanky, you know? Really appreciated ill-advised series, lmao.

I’ve had kind of a stressful day filled with bad news and anxiety But I’m going to a birthday dinner tonight and decided to take another shower and take my time getting ready You made me break out my Subculture palette I had bought it on a whim and I loved using it, but hadn’t touched it in forever! I even did something I normally don’t do, and I followed the same steps and used the same colors as you. I love the look! And I used the ELF Lash XTNDR cause I heard so many good things! I didn’t have any of the other products you mentioned, but the other day I was looking through my stash, and found 2 blush duos from COVER FX I had picked up a long time ago, and for some reason, didn’t like. I have been using them for the last couple of days, and I can’t remember why I didn’t like them, cause I have really been enjoying them! The grunge tones really suit you! That eye look is stunning. I'm surprised, as you are cool toned. I'm also cool toned (and uncooked chicken), but grunge warm tones just make me look like I've been punched in the eye 😮🙈 Maybe your hair and eye colour make the difference? Speaking of hoarding makeup, that’s my secret shame. I have far too much makeup that I have basically never decluttered because I’m always thinking ‘but what if my tastes change in the future and I regret getting rid of it’ or ‘what if I just don’t understand the product now’. If anything has gone bad I’ll throw it out, but otherwise I’ve never really decluttered my makeup. I basically have a makeup museum at this point.

I got rid of my original Subculture 2 years ago because it was so patchy and strange. I loved the color story. BUT! I did have enough MakeupGeek and other singles to recreate the palette. MG had a closing sale, too, so I grabbed a lot at that time. Thank you, makeup Reddit for your help😂 I also still have my OG Dior AirFlash from my engagement and wedding. It may or may not be able to attend 1st grade soon.

Can i give you a tip as a fellow very fair skinned person. I often end up with foundations or bb creams that are just a little too dark. And I’ve used danessa myricks color fix matte white to blend in a few drops. And it works perfectly. Bonus tip, if the foundation is too yellow, get a color fix matte purple and blend in a very light amount to neutralise. This could work with other liquid eyeshadow products too of course, like about face for example 😊

I am still hooked on the Chantecaille powder, Covergirl left the UK ages ago. I know Tati has been raving about the covergirl powder for months. Chantecaille releases have been a bit off for me as well. Their blushes are cute, but not the best, and the powder is bomb. I feel like their quads have been a bit weird and those super expensive single shades are just too much for me to justify. They keep sending me money off codes but I have a current powder and a backup.

I love the airflash…sad they discontinued it. Also, I got a few directly from Dior, which was very fancy. Haven’t worn it for a while…and i just checked it and , yep, too dark (N1)…I did find the best shade match I’ve ever had in the Lisa Eldridge foundation in 2.5…which is light OLIVE! I had no idea, ffs…I might get the tint at some point too…

Hi Theresa!! I have said this before on your channel but I still use the Kat Von D originals. The shade and light face palette AND the Shade and Light EYE palette ! I will be very sad when they run out because it's in the original cardboard packaging designed by Kat herself. Do you still have the eye palette? I remember watching when Mel Thompson used it on her channel the very first time and I was in AWE

I love yr vids cos I’m uncooked chicken colour too. In the UK we have 8 weeks of sun in the whole year, so obvs I stay in lol. I’m shade OSLO in NARS Too! Yayy! There is NO ONE on YT that’s same shade! Thank U uncooked chicken buddy! Lots 💖💖 from The UK 🇬🇧
