Bringing my truck to its first show 

I am driving my 1952 REO M-35 to a car show in another town. This is by far the furthest this truck has driven in a single day since I bought it in 2017. On top of that, the last time the truck left the farm, it randomly shut off in the mechanic's driveway and we couldn't get it started. The time before that, I blew the head gasket. Can I drive the truck to another state without it breaking down or being impounded?
