What a HARD WORKING Team you have. Yanis goes at it like a man driven, so much energy. He seems much less shy. Rick and your Dad round thing out nicely making everything flow so well. Great progress in 1 day!!!!
All Yannis needs to learn now is the admin side of a contracting business and you will have set him up for life. While working with you he has learned so many aspects of the building and construction business. Well done.
As a female with no restoration abilities to my credit, I’m so addicted to watching you all renovate the convent and the chateau I think you are all just amazing.
Love the shot of dad through the hole in the wall, supervising outside! Precious. Your dad reminds me of my grandfather. A very hard worker and at the end of the day when he sits down, falls asleep right away. ❤
It is wonderful to see the window area reopened.. and it’s also great to see your Dad .. Rick and Yannis aren’t wasting any time getting the rooms stripped back… Great workmanship!!
Glad to see work beginning again on the convent although I enjoy the progress on the chateau as well. Also, like the eclectic mix of music you use. Varied and keeps us entertained as well as engaged. Thanks!
Wow! 👏 It's amazing to me what the right men and tools can accomplish. It was fun watching you all bring the house down, and the music was perfect this time in matching the vibe. Bravo guys!
Wow, Rick smashing the plaster over the damp! Its such a lovely project. You're quite right not to keep those exposed walls. That would be inviting damp. Crack on the boys crack on. !!!! Big hugs to all the crew. ❤
I was always taught to say, "Service Floor" instead of basement, if that was where the help worked. A basement wouldn't have kitchens, pantries, sculleries, wine cellars, etc
My lord, Yannis is relentless & strong... just... wow. Plenty of hard work to go around for sure. Rick contributes so much with his hard work & solid ethic, and the hours your dad has put in over the years both shows & impresses. Billy, you are always a favorite as well. You have put in the lion's share of hours here and I love both what you are doing & how you are getting it done (as well as how you share it with us). Thank you again!
Glad to see the progress on the Refectory and upstairs! Glad to see Rick & Yanis wearing their protective gear. RU-vid has been showing me some older videos of yours, Billy, and you once told Simon if he didn't wear the reflective vest he had to go home. He almost went home, but everyone put on their reflective vests to clear out upstairs. Where were those vests today? I waved at your dad, too!
Now ur talking with this music..love it..and bless yanis.he really goes at it.and u too billy, your taking gutting a building to a whole new level lol 🇬🇧
Your music is the best. Gosh, the demolition is coming along quickly, so much has gotten done😳A shame about the paneling, hope there is enough for one room.
Fantastic work and even more fantastic to see the removal of the half window - what on earth were the previous owners (whoever they were) thinking by putting a half window in - most bizarre. Love the phrase "convent is going on a diet" brilliant along with the "smiling beam" - keep them coming. Love this channel always so interest and fabulous music. Well done all.
Team Demo is doing a great job!!! It is amazing the amount of work that can be done and gets done. Watching Rick and Yanis and your dad work to remove the stone walls and all the paneling/plaster is watching them work together is truly amazing. Can't wait to see the Chareau's kitchen get done as well. Have a great day
Wow!! I don’t see how ya’ll can move for a week after a day like this!! My arms & back would hurt so bad, I’d be incapacitated!! Ya’ll are strong!! Great job.
Way to go Yannis ! Too bad there are not 10 of you. Thank you for playing the Minuet from String quintet in E Major Billy- Have not heard that in a long time. One of my favorites. :D Need more work music. :D Take care and Stay Safe guys !
Always happy to see new work. The music brings me back to the American commercial " Excuse me , do you have any grey poupon?" LOL, just had to say that. Ha,ha. 😂❤
Hi there great video as usual 💕 I love how Mick always wears his work overalls my father was just the same . I could never persuade my husband or son to do the same . I guess it’s a generational thing. 😃
It's funny looking at this video while being just a short drive away from you, in an hotel room in Mayenne ! As I was looking at maps of ancient celtic and roman remains of the region in the Jublains museum earlier today I wondered if you had anything in either of your properties, given that a number of elements were found in and around Ermée !
There is a RU-vid episode from Schoolhouse Homestead where they are renovating an old schoolhouse into their home here in the US. The interior walls of one of the rooms has been cleaned and they found products that seal and keep the dust away if you are interested.
Watching all the drilling and demolition with the soft playing music was really soothing. Or maybe it was watching all the hard workers putting in a hard day's work! Well Done!
Loved the music. Not that I didn’t love it any other time. It just gave me the feeling that Rick was cutting through butter instead of chiseling through concrete and stone. Very nice.
Listening to a Minuet From String Quintet In E Major... watching a hole being smashed through a stone wall. I love these vlogs 😂 never dull, that's for sure. Cheers guys
Thankyou Rick for holding the scaffold for Yannis!!!! Billy, it has to be said, You could not have found a better group of men to help you!!!!!!!!!!!! To all of you, WELL DONE!!!!
Honestly, when he first showed up, I thought ,"what's the deal here". He looked so small and skinny and weak...but he obviously has determination as over the course of his stay he has packed on some serious muscle and developed some serious skills... he is a dynamo.
Thank you Billy . And your crew of amazing Craftsman. . You truly aspire all of us . to take on this task . Renovating a beautiful convent . You remind me of. The crew of this Old House that I watched every single episode for the last 45 years thank you thank you thank you. And crack on.
#1 Yanis is a BEAST with the demolition. #2 I can't wait to see the chateau's kitchen. 3# Hello Billy's dad. I love seeing you wave through the rubble.
You all put so much energy into bringing down the walls and ceilings. Great job. You might want to take one of the rooms in the convent and install a few massage chairs for aching muscles!!! xx
