@@OneDegreeLife thanks for your reply and checking out my channel! The trapper is available in flat grind and all I made where flat grind. I am not a big fan of scandi grind as I usually do not use a knife for task that would really benefit from it. Also prefer the look of a flat grind. 🙋🏻♀️ Anna
@@annacraft Right. I've many flat grinds from Enzo. I dislike the V edge they feature though. The best blade design I've seen from them was the Bader which has since been discontinued. It had a beautiful full convex in D2. I wish they'd bring it back on a Trapper handle (not a Camper handle fan and that's what it had) and offer it in other steels. It's superb. I have a blank left that I hope to make this year. I love this new O1 scandi, but like you, scandi isn't my favorite geometry. Cheers!
@@OneDegreeLife never tried the badger. My favorite one is actually the necker - made probably around 20 of those 😂 just a perfect edc knife for me. Just wish they would do it in a better steel as I can’t see 12c27 anymore. I have a scara 60 in rwl-34 from them that I need to finish. Will edc it for a while and see how i like it. While the brisa blades come reasonably sharp the quality in the grind varies and I usually redo it🙋🏻♀️Anna
@@annacraft I can see that in the grind sometimes. Luckily, mine have been pretty consistent. I'm interested in taking a look at the new Trooper. It's a high grind, with a non-tapering point like the Trapper. Perhaps in the coming months. I also want to try their version of the Kephart. I like their 14 series of sandvic ok, but not sure about long-term edge-holding. I also love neckers! My last one was an ESEE Isula that I pulled the coating off of and added a paracord weave to. I just love knives :)
