What do you mean. His whole life was based on being born brown to white "parents", his real father was a black American at a time when there was segregation in the US. He grew up under a racist stepfather and experienced racism throughout his life. What else would they make a documentary about? The whole point of it is addressing racial issues. They don't make documentaries about mixed race babies where everything went well 😂
