People request hella specific builds "Can you build a medium large Mediterranean house with good curb appeal and enough space for a kitten and large dog and a large master bedroom with a bathroom attached and a half bath downstairs with an open floor plan and basement and a room for a toddler girl and twin children males but the twins are opposite and the decor is 70s themed and a closed floor-plan upstairs with a pool and barbecue thanks!"
For a sorority I would put the “cafeteria” and a kitchen because most american sororities ive seen have catering and whatnot but also have kitchens... so both options would be realistic
On my campus, sororities have tiny kitchens and most don't have many rooms for living. My sorority had a kitchen and space for 9 sisters but none of us had catering. It's more so with the wealthy, big, southern sororities.
I lived in my sorority house last year, and we have a big kitchen with a chef! The main kitchen area was for our chefs only, but we had meals cooked everyday so we only had a microwave and fridge for outside food. But I'm at a big college, and our greek life is huge. Most of the sorority houses fit 80-90 people and have their own chefs as well!
How you come up with these ridiculously stunning and detailed buildings is something that’ll never understand! The way that you placed the stairs leading up to the front door, to me it’s just so perfect, like honestly, well done!
A roommate apartment idea: “opposite” roommates. The first roommate is a sorta goody two-shoes wannabe housewife looking for a husband to take home to Brindleton Bay. Grew up privileged, very girly, very traditional, and a H U G E romantic, like all she reads, watches, and listens to romance. The second roommate, on the other hand, is a spell caster whose looking to be a detective in hopes of solving some old family mystery. She primarily hangs out in San Myshuno’s “supernatural underground” unbeknownst to her very anti-supernatural roommate. Second Build Idea: I recommend looking up Dark Academia aesthetic and try to recreate a uni housing based off of it. Basically, Dark Academia describes a genre of literature that surrounds hedonistic wealthy university students (def Britchester) often getting caught up in “dark” events in their own obsessive and self-destructive tendencies. (Murder is a big theme). The characters are often based off of Greco-Roman tragedy archetypes, but could also be other mythologies. Definitely fun to do.
I did a townhouse inspired build where my sim has a basement apartment and then rents out the entire house to roommates and it’s really fun for game play!
I accept no stoves in dorms (even tho my dorm had a full kitchen in the basement) but stoves are restricted in off campus housing too??!!?! So weird!! Anyways, great build though as always! :)
University LP could be really fun! You could experience how living in dorms looks like, well at least in The Sims, I loved your Strangerville mini lp and I’m sure you would came up with amazing characters :D
I would love it if you maybe updated the Professor’s house in Newcrest, that you built for your save file a long time ago, with some of the stuff from this pack, Discover University! The style would be so fitting 😊💜 I’m also excited to see who is going to live in that house and if he/she is actually a professor or a teacher 😃
Nice build! I found the roommates wouldnt do laundry unless my sim had already started it by putting a load in the washing machine, once that was done a roommate would finish the load by putting it in the dryer and then away after...

Sorority girl here! At most us universities where the sorority houses are part of official campus housing, they have their own catering/chef/cafeteria and at other schools where the sorority house is unaffiliated with the university they just have regular kitchens.
Omg this build was amazing! I’m currently a senior in college and this just made me nostalgic about living in my sorority house sophomore year. You nailed it! We do have a kitchen and a great kitchen staff and house staff including a house mom who oversees our day to day needs and looks out for all the girls in the house:) and i laughed so hard when you placed the portrait of the “founder” because that’s a pretty common thing in most of the houses at my university. This is beautiful! Something I do in my University houses since we can't place stoves is I add a couple of Hot Pots that come with Snowy Escape. Those work. Also banquet tables, although food can be a bit pricey when serving a full banquet. But they're both nice options and better food than microwave dinners.
I would LOVE to see a build of a very large apartment building (like 2 apartments per floor and 4 floors maybe? to max out the roommate system but let you have a sim family if you want?), with maybe like a basement work out space or something
Now that we have copperdale, I'm suddenly reinspired to build on Brichester too. I'd also love to see a large sorority, especially since we have more academic related traits. Love this build, I keep rewatching it!

From my personal real life experience, the cafeteria style is realistic for a sorority house. That's what we had at Florida State and we were required to eat so many meals a week at the house.
I struggled with the fact that we couldn’t have a stove. I rebuilt the Drake dorm area and even though we can’t have stoves in the rooms, I wish we could still place stoves so we can make a proper meal. When I played through Uni, my sim spent most of her time in the dorm either studying, or sleeping so it would be so handy to have a working kitchen so she is not eating dehydrated noodles all day.

Hi Simlicy. I absolutely love your builds. You're one of my favorite youtubers. Maybe for one of your future builds, you could build a London Townhouse in Britechester as that seems to be some of the style. It reminds me of St James' Park in London.

I'd love if you could do a multiuse lot for brichester. I know there's student common areas, but I thought it'd be nice to see retail or restaurants in the college town. Perhaps with like a bookstore or yoga studio, or photography studio and student boutique
wow! could you do a video where you delve a bit further into your degrees? the BA in science in geology sounds so interesting to me, as i want to pursue a degree in some science field, don't really know which one yet, probably chemistry hahaha
You can have 9 roommates, plus your sim so a total of 10 sims can be on a lot now. Also, the cafeteria object doesn't work properly in campus housing, it costs money to eat if it is placed anywhere except the university Commons.
It's 10 Sims in when using the roommate feature. 8 household sims +2 roommates (or less household and more roommates). Also!! If you wanted, you could create the students that live there make enroll them all in school, and then either not use the roommate feature, or use and it edit the random roomies that arrive in CAS in order to force them to be a student. And then NOT label the house as Student Housing. That way everyone living there would be a student, but you wouldn't be limited by the restricted items. That's what I would recommend doing if you don't want to use mods!
At my school (small private college) we weren't allowed to have sorority houses so there was one dorm that had wings for each sorority and a chapter room with a small kitchen that they could make special meals in -- think date nights or birthday parties. The other dorms did not have kitchens and you were not allowed to have anything in your room for cooking other than mini fridges and hot pots. The fraternity houses had small kitchens and a cook who would make lunches and dinners Sunday through Thursday. It was RARE for students to cook their own meals in the sorority chapter rooms or frat kitchens, and even to eat in them. They just went to the dining halls, where the food was already made and someone else did the dishes. It was more likely that a vegetarian would sneak a microwave, electric burner, camp stove, or toaster oven into their room and wash dishes in the communal bathrooms at night.

About Let's Plays - maybe you could try doing some challenges that don't span over many generations, something that won't take you as much time as Not So Berry challenge, but it will ease you into those types of videos. I also miss your Not So Berry series, it was really good.
i think that a small apartment building with common areas such as a playground and a laundry room would work perfectly with the new roommate feature! it would be a little challenging to build the entire structure but i'm sure you'd do it beautifully
Could you make an off campus house in britechester? My sim is moving out of her dorm because it’s her last term for university and she wants to live with her boyfriend (she wants to become a judge and is a history major and the boyfriend is majoring in communications) LOVE YOUR VIDEOS

About the let’s play topic, instead of a big lp like the not so berry maybe you could just open up your game and play for a little? just to test it out you know?! like university, create a sim and enroll her/him and just have fun, or some small challenges (I’m just suggesting tho pls don’t feel pressured to do anything) but you know something that doesn’t take you a long time to record but that it would also be something different on the channel. Anyways, as I said, it’s just a suggestion and I’m sure everyone will continue to be here even if you continue only with the speed builds. 💖
What if you set it as a normal house and move them in then when they get into university you can choose to have them stay at home? Then you can have the normal kitchen stuff I guess? Also, do roommate's work on normal lots?

Could you make a recreation of the frat house from Sydney White it’s for a group of seven nerds and one girl who were kicked from their sorority houses or just didn’t fit in with other college students. It’s called the Vortex and it’s older and run down compared to the rest of the houses in the area but I’ve always pictured myself being apart of the house.
If you have extra time, please consider an LP, it doesn't matter when you start, I'll still watch it. I agree it's silly - I wonder why they thought there shouldn't be a kitchen in a house too. This must be the nicest Sorority House in The Sims and real life.

I've even tried to add it to my library via the link in the description, but it seems as if you have it marked to be unshareable in your sims gallery. Can you please re-share it?? I am desperate to move in a sorority I started with this build in mind. I had it in my library previously, but I am assuming when you changed the status of it, it removes it from our libraries. This also happened to me a month or two ago with the Single Mom's Cottage house for Newcrest. A fun idea: Building a dorm for octuplets! Maybe four girls and four boys, with kinda similar but distinct personalities. (Doesn't need to be, but personally I feel like giving your Sims a pre-decided personality helps in making the builds more detailed and better,) I was thinking something like this: Sim1 (B) - An artsy, creative book lover 2 (G) - A geeky dance lover who is super into songs 3 (G)- A creative person who loves to read and write 4 (G)- A superwhiz sim who's athletic as well a big romantic 5(B) - An anti-romantic sim who loves cats and is geeky 6(B)- A charismatic, romantic, animal loving sim 7(B)- A mean, wanna-be actor and snobby sim 8 (G)- An aspiring singer-songwriter who's creative and athletic Please make a dorm for these 8!! Also you can change the personalities and all but please make a dorm for octuplets! Thank youuuu ❤️
You should do a dorm room for a cheerleader even tho like you can’t have cheerleaders in the game it should be like inspired by a cheerleader for like one of the colleges
Do sims stories like go into create a sim and tell us the inspiration behind each of the sims and show us a little bit about their life and then upload them to the gallery for us all to play and then you can create reaction vids to the😀
