There US DD shermans with the extra exhaust canvas at the back of the engine deck we didn't use these its been told but there ya go!

this was clearly for british crews - did the americans also use this training for the dd tanks they employed?

I expect they had and used their own stuff as not all of the equipment was the same even if many of the principles involved were.
