British Extreme Enduro 2021 Amateur rider perspective at Cowm Quarry plus course walk & PM mayhem 

The action at the British Extreme Enduro Championship moved to Cowm Quarry for Round 2 on the 15th of May. The competition has two races, the AM 2 hour race and the PM 3 hour race. The morning is designed for more amateur riders while still being incredible extreme, while the PM adds some extra mad extreme sections to keep the experts and pros like Billy Bolt pushing hard.
Note - ACU events do not allow head cam or body mounted cameras. This footage was taken on a GoPro on the front fender during the race. I then road the same course the following day with different camera mounts to get some better perspective - hence the run and rain! I hope it works to give you an idea of the event.
Cowm Quarry’s known rocky surface and technical hill climbs became even trickier with heavy rain in the run up and during PM race.
I was there in the AM race on my Husqvarna TE250i and had a really great time. Here you can see me walking the course, explaining how the event runs, riding the AM race and then spectating the PM madness. It was a fantastic weekend organised by Fast Eddy Racing with Tommy Sagar designing one epic track.
If you are tempted to give extreme enduro a go then I hope this gives you an idea of what it can be like. Cowm Quarry is a top training location in the UK and is frequently open for pay an play if you wanted to have a go outside of racing conditions.
Rockstar Husqvarna’s reigning champion (BEEC 2020) Billy Bolt made his season debut with a clear victory over the round. After a tough 2h30m run he was the only rider to complete 12 laps.
