Chick-fil-A gets thought about for many reasons. Many people consider it the best (as well as possibly healthiest) fast food place and really like the food. Other people wouldn't go there on a bet because of their history of public opposition to same sex marriage. Either way, it gets thought about.

Hi there. I'm from Florida. So typically you don't tip at fast food restaurant in the U.S. Tipping is mostly expected at restaurants that personally serve your food to your table and clear away the dishes. Since at most fast food restaurant you serve yourself and clear your table after you eat as well it is not expected.

There are strict rules regarding fast food places not being allowed to accept tips. Even if a tip is offered the staff in most cases will and should say "We are not able/allowed to accept tips."

For burgersI like lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, bacon, ketchup, mustard and mayo. My only stipulation is the mayo cannot touch the ketchup/mustard so they go on opposite sides of the meat patty. For chicken sandwiches I like lettuce, tomato and mayo. Sometimes mustard and onion are good as well. I typically get the spicy chicken sandwich from Wendys.

For a long time I only knew of one Chick-fil-A in southern California. That was during the 80s or 90s. Fast forward to 2010 and I was shocked to find when I had moved to A different part of Los Angeles county they had a Chick-fil-A. Now Chick-fil-A is popping up all over the area. They went from almost none for a very long time to a lot of them in the past few years. When I first had them in the 80s or 90s, I loved their chicken sandwich. When I had them in the 2000s, I didn’t like it so much at all. I’ve tried it several times and I still did not like it. Finally I decided to try the grilled chicken and I like it much better.

I eat fast food very rarely but Chickfila can't be beat for service. The closest one is an hour away from me but man do they do a business and their drive-thru lines of like 20 cars are served in 5 minutes or less. McDonalds, Burger King, and Whataburger are mediocre and it takes 20+ minutes sometimes for the drive thru when there's barely anyone there. Chickfila has got their service down pat and they seem to hire people that take it seriously 👍🏻

@ESUSAMEX
@ESUSAMEX 11 месяцев назад
@@torstenheling3830 You are wrong on every count. First off, the US has been issuing social security numbers at birth for years. My nephew is the same age as Aidan (according to his birthday video a few days ago) and my nephew got his social security number (SS#) at the same time his birth certificate arrived at my brother's home. And if Aidan doesn't have a SS Number yet, his place of birth is still listed in his British Passport. The agent is not going to miss that info. In fact, I wouldn't be surprise if his British driver's license also lists his birth location either. I knew an American-born woman who grew up in England and who hated that her British driver's license listed her birthplace in America. She said hated seeing that info on her license because she did not feel American at all. She moved to London at 2 years-old. Secondly, the first 3 numbers of all SS numbers show where the person lived when he or she first got his or her social security number. And since these numbers are now given to all babies at birth, the first 3 numbers indicate where (which state) the child was born. You can look up this info online. Thirdly, I would hate to inform you that the US already has a travel record for both kids. They had to leave the US in order get to England. The US records all that info in a federal database and customs. Besides, I am sure they already have had a US passport at least once before. Finally, I need to inform you that US immigration knows about this channel and every other channel on RU-vid. You see, the Department of Homeland Security monitors the internet. Don't believe me? Another European RU-vidr named Eva from Poland (She grew up in England as well) got pulled aside by US immigration at the US border with Mexico when she was filming her drive to Alaska from Mexico City. She was detained for several hours a few months ago because her complete travel history and Polish passport showed that she had spent years traveling around the Middle East. She said in her RU-vid video that the US border patrol knew everything about her within seconds. The reason for my original post was to remind the brothers to bring their US passports with them to the US. My info is sound and correct because it is a serious crime for an American to try to enter the US on a foreign passport. Don't believe me? Look it up! The only speaking nonsense hear is you. You really need to get informed before trying to callout someone else's comment.

I worked at a Chick Fil A Dwarf House, and everything was literally cooked from scratch. We filleted the chicken breasts, cuts the chicken into nugget sizes, and strips, we peeled and used a waffle slicer for the potatoes, made the biscuits from scratch, made the salads, chicken pot pies, carrot and raisin salad, coleslaw, the tea, cut lemons and squeezed the juice for lemonade, pretty much everything was made absolutely from scratch minus the brownies, the ice cream came in packets ( not solid-pre mixture of ingredients )that we put into a machine that makes them just like homemade ice cream, … that was in the 90’s. I’m not sure if it’s still this way because of the demand but that was definitely the healthiest fast food you could get! At least in GA lol! Never got tips on the self-serve side, only on the server side. I’m not sure that those exist anymore?? 3/4 years ago, our Dwarf House changed to the standard Chick Fil A, still very popular but there’s not a sit down service side anymore:(

There's really no such thing as a server at a fast food restaurant in America. Except for things like Frisch's Big Boy for instance. Which is really a restaurant that just happens to have a drive thru. They did that because they were on camera ordering a bunch of food. Or They just had someone bring it to them instead of wait because their order was going to take soo long to cook. So they weren't standing there the whole time while it's busy. Or just call out your last name to come get it from the register. Usually the latter. I haven't been to a Chic Fila but I doubt it's normal to have someone bring your food to the table unless it's a large order or it's going to take a while to cook it all. They do the same thing elsewhere like McDonald's or another fast food restaurant if the order is going to take time. But that's not really a server. They're just delivering it. A servers job is different. But the boxes that are by the register's are not for tips. There's no way to do that specifically for a specific person if they were a server. They'd have to split it equally or something if it was for tips. The boxes are for donations for whatever charity that particular restaurant or food chain is supporting. For instance at McDonald's the extra change or bills people would put in the box would go to the Ronald McDonald house charities. Or to a specific charity that that particular fast food building donates to. Which could be different than others in the company. Or the charity that it's donated to could change throughout the year. There are/were privately owned businesses in places where they used to have jars for tips. Usually a deli or an Asian take out restaurant that would be there if you wanted to tip. But I haven't seen anything like that in decades here in the United States. At least here in Ohio. So some very rare privately owned businesses might still. But I haven't seen any in a very long time. Maybe in New York City or places like that maybe. Any tips here in America are usually added to the bill and they have you add it to the bill if you want to when you pay for the food if want to. Personally and most people I know won't add a tip if it's take out though because you're the one driving or coming to get it. So there's no server or delivery person. I'm honestly not even sure if it goes to the servers that never served you or to the kitchen staff and cooks. I think it's the latter. Either way the box at fast food restaurants. Especially the corporately owned one's. Are donation boxes for charities.

Tips do not happen at a fast food place. That clear box, is for whatever fund raiser the restaurant is participating in at the time. They used to have those on the drive thru windows as well so either the driver or the cashier when instructed can drop their change from the purchase in. Most people do NOT tip at fast food places. But they often do have a jar at the cash register and some people do put their change in it or maybe $1. Now, however, more places are getting the kind of digital terminals that "suggest" a tip for you and intimidate you into giving one unless you want to be labeled as the kind of cheapskate who would choose the "0" choice. Frankly, I am that kind of cheapskate, especially now that I live in a state that mandates a $15/hr minimum wage for fast food workers which isn't bad for a basically unskilled starting job taken by mostly teens and retired people.

The " healthiest" fast food would be Arbys roast beef. As a type 1 diabetic my Dr says if I have to east fast food, eat Arbys. Luckily I like Arbys

Fast food workers like McDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell, etc in my area (Massachusetts) definitely do not receive tips. They are paid hourly at least minimum wage sometimes more.

Have only eaten there once. Entire family was on vacation and the wait at Cracker Barrel was over an hour. Since we were on the road, time was important. I was not impressed with the food. Ended up giving mine to my neice and nephews. Glad we always have the snack basket in the cars. Wanted to try this place due to all of the hype, but now no thank you.

You mustve had a bad experience, which sucks. Their chicken is way cleaner and tastier than almost every other fast food. Maybe you were just in a bad mood from waiting at Cracker Barrel, which is totally understandable

@@user-wr9ej6xe4j Nope, my neice, who is a huge fan, wanted me to like it. It's all good, everyone has different taste buds. It's okay, know they couldn't have so many restaurants if others didn't like it.
