was canceled at one point and brought back because of popular demand. BTW, Southpark is way more funny and shockingly controversial. Smart though! they even successfully roasted Family Guy
The first year it was on was 1999. It was on for 3 years then cancelled. The reruns were so popular on late night tv that it came back in 2005. It’s been on ever since. It’s a great show. I still watch it whenever I can.
I kept laughing while the Brits sat back and looked unhappy. 😂😳😂 I died when they showed Peter looking at the donkey in Mexico with the sign "aborto andele" 🤣🤣🤣 Did they show that or was that too much? 😂
Family Guy toned down their more controversial jokes in the past 5 years. But they had about a 20 year run of some of the most hilarious bits 😂 (which all of the these are included within).
Family Guy and South Park can get away with whatever they want and it’s freaking hilarious. Too many people get offended by humor, but the creators of Family Guy and South Park know exactly how to do it. You saw what South Park just did Prince Harry and Meghan absolutely hilarious. They threatened to sue and the South Park creators just said bring it on.
@@JermaineCole2014 That’s the worst opinion I’ve ever heard. And I actually enjoy Family Guy VERY much. But it’s like comparing fast-food to a world class steak. (Then again, maybe you just havn’t ever had something that good, so you don’t understand.)
They are jokes. Even if they weren't, we enjoy the freedom of speech (which encompasses offensive language, hate speech, etc) and guarantees that the only thing Family Guy and South Park have to fear is a drop in ratings.
Family guy is a great show that really echoing our society which oftentimes makes us realize how bad it is that even makes you speechless. It’s a true reality.
theres definitely a lot of early 2000s humor here, like calling that guy a cigarette. it might seem jarring now but thats how everyone talked just a few years ago.
@@AngryJT same sex marriage was finally legalized by the supreme court in the USA in 2015 so i think that might have something to do with that particular term going out of fashion anyway
That joke made me laugh pretty hard. Now that you mention that particular word, I've noticed me and the buddies don't call eachother that too much anymore.
If you’re unapologetic for making jokes then those who find it offensive move on. It’s the moment you start apologizing for one thing that you’re trapped. Sometimes jokes are just bad jokes.
I think it's super hilarious, off-color humor is the best, especially with my morbid sense of humor. Comedian Bill Burr's raunchy act, in my opinion, was more like he was just saying whatever, for shock value. Raunchy talk doesn't always, nor automatically equal funny. Some "dick and fart jokes", as they say, are funny, but not always, they still have to be good, not just off color.
This show is very shock and awe while full of stereotypes. Obviously these jokes are not an appropriate representation which adds to the humor. Its hard to tell what they will come up with next from episode to episode and honestly I think that's half of the fun. Lol. Great review
Yes, it is still on and yes it is the same--hilarious. Almost all of the viewers understand that they are spoofing/ridiculing actual racists, etc., by being over the top and overtly stereotypical with every group to highlight the absurdities.
lol they just renewed for 2 more seasons lol 25 years this year. Fun fact creator was supposed to be on the 9/11 flight and missed it because he was hangover from celebrating family guy coming back!
they can do it cause they can't be censored as long as it's classified as comedy. It's the same reason why the simpsons and southpark are still up and running.
Americans as a group are pretty normal. We do laugh at everyone. Having said that, we know we're going to get it back. We laugh every chance we get if we don't have our head up our ass. 🇺🇸
It's so weird because most Americans can laugh at ourselves and some will be so offended. This country is crazy. But I blame whatever happened after 2010. After the 2000's we went wayyy below the belt
10:36, that’s not just a joke either. The state of Texas literally has a history of doing it too, even though the Supreme Court, or the constitution itself says it’s unconstitutional to execute those who are mentally disabled.
Its funny seeing reactions from ppl living in countries with very limited freedom of speech, its amazing this cartoon would probably be considered hate speech and punishable by law in your country lmao
