Another wild one from Jinjer.

I think the allure of Tatiana in the live sessions and live performances is her charisma. I find the way she carries herself and her expressions as really genuine , cool, and laid back even though she growling/screaming a lot of time. You can see it in the live performance of "Who is Going to Be The One" and "Outlander", "Perennial", as well as the much older music video/performance of "Scissors." Tatiana is unabashedly herself and oozes self-confidence on the stage. What I like about "I Speak Astronomy" is the melodic and rhythmic journey it takes you on.

Yeah they are incredible live. I've seen them twice and Tatiana is mesmerizing. Definitely worth getting tickets after the pandemic, they've been doing tours in the UK frequently. There aren't any concert versions of this song with perfect sound on par with Wacken or with Napalm's pro shot recordings. Best are at Summer Breeze 2018 and the 2018 Resurrection Fest full set if you go to the 14 minute mark. There is also a fun behind the scenes making of video for this. Who Is Gonna Be The One official live is a Jinjer song with only a concert video. One way to explore both the technical side of their videos and the live performances would be double features. You could try out the format with Ape which is pretty short at under 4 minutes, doing the studio video and also the one-shot video from Mystic Festival. Other songs with both official and live videos are Perennial, Pit Of Consciousness, Cloud Factory, Judgement & Punishment, On The Top with both omv and live videos released by Napalm Records or Jinjer Metal Band channel. Captain Clock has a artful lyrics video using CGI animation and the live video from Resurrection Fest is great too.

You can pick whatever Jinjer Track - they will be awesome. They did not do a bad song yet. Same for Spiritbox. Definitely my recommendation if you like women doing crazy stuff and cool music with stunning vocals. My recommendation to start with them: "Rule of Nines" or "Blessed Be"

2nd video prod quality is superb :) I agree and understand the comment about this videos impact, it’s nice for the visual, but imo on the lower end of what jinjer can smash at ones ears. Also there live recordings always get me. Nice reaction! Keep it up. Jinjer - teacher teacher, it’s a produced video/recording of 3 too 4 live shows that they combined to one epic video, sound, intensity and visuals are great. You might enjoy that.

Nice one Yaz! The official Teacher, Teacher video should be right up your street. It's the studio sound recording, with footage from multiple live concerts edited together for the visuals. Sounds simple, but the editing is _good_ , using slo-mo and soft-focus to match the visuals to the music in a way that really enhances it.

Their music videos kind of fall into one of two categories. They either do compilations of concert footage, which are just as badass as their lives ones... or highly conceptual videos, which are mind-blowing to some degree or another.

All of their videos are completely different in style and you'll find that Tatiana is quite the chameleon. The Live performance that is most epic is "Perennial" Live at Wacken, though most of their official live performances are also incredible. You can't go wrong w/any choice.

Nice reaction, & great hair too! Jinjer are an awesome band with so many good songs & one of the only bands I prefer watching their life stuff which I think speaks to their technical brilliance. They also put so much emotion & personality in to their live performances & really connect with the audience. I would suggest starting with their earlier stuff & you can see how they've evolved. Maybe try Scissors or No hoard of value next.

They have some great live videos for On the Top, Perennial, Outlander, Who is Gonna be the One, I Speak Astronomy, Judgement (& Punishment), Pit of Conscience. They have great music videos for Sit Stay Rollover, Cloud Factory, Bad Water, Teacher Teacher (arguably their best song), On the Top, Noah, Perennial, Judgement (& Punishment) and Retrospection, you could easily spend a long time going through their videos. A couple other amazing female fronted bands to try are Unleash the Archers (Awakening, Cleasne the Bloodlines, Abyss and Soulbound are the best songs to go with) and Vintersea (Illuminated, Old Ones, Befallen, Entities, The Host and a really fun tour video they did on a day off for The Gravity of Fall). Japan has some crazy talanted bands around now in rock and metal, some of them all female, try Band-Maid, Wagakki Band, Lovebites, Aldious, Mary's Blood, Unlucky Morpheus, Doll$boxx. I love the Expanse, the best Sci-Fi series of the last 10+ years, and I see what you mean about the visuals, they do kind of remind me of Ceres station or the Saturn ice mining.

This song is an amazing journey both musically, lyrically and visually! Trully special band, live they are even better! They infuse a lot of diferent types of music in their metal sound: hard rock, jazz, ska, reggae, rap, you name it! Examples? "Who´s Gonna Be The One" live, "Judgement & Punishment" or the amazing "Teacher, Teacher" . Dig in, you´ll love it. Great reaction.

From the "live" category, definitely check "Perennial - live @ Wacken 2019" and/or "Who is gonna be the one - Official live". But if you want the perfect combo between live and visuals, checkout the official video for "Teacher, Teacher" (but I must warn you, that song is a f**ing masterpiece, one of them songs only written once in a generation, it's on heavy-rotation in my "normal" playlist for more than a year now). Seen them live in Manchester last year (2019) and they blew up to roof of Manchester Academy. They are a f**ing machine on stage, spot on, don't think they're even human, really :-))) ) Fun reaction, subbed.

@@yazma2 Something you might find helpful Care Package for Surviving Nightwish Formed in 1996 in Finland. Symphonic Metal. Their backing tracks are composed by the keyboard player which are then recorded with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Too hard to have the entire orchestra at the concerts. Thus the name, symphonic metal. They have had 3 different female vocalists. Tarja Turanen. The band was built around her powerful operatic voice. Then came Annette Olzon from Sweeden. Her voice was good but more of the pop style. Floor Jansen is their current vocalist, say no more. Current members Tuomas Holopainen is the keyboard player. He writes and arranges 95% of the works. Nightwish is his baby Erno "Emppu" Vuorinen is the lead guitarist and also founding member. The band trickster. Marco Heitala joined in 2001. Bass guitarist. Guitarist and singing god. Jukka Nevalainen is the beast on drums. He however suffered from chronic insomnia and had to give it away. Now Kai Hahto is the drummer. He took over in 2014. That was after the Wacken festival. Pronounced Var ken. Floor Jansen is the vocal Godess from the Netherlands. She took over on very short notice from Annette Olzon shortly before the Wacken 2013 concert. And finally Troy Donockley from the UK. Very talented musician in his own rights You name it, he plays it, as well as vocals. If possible, always watch their live shows. They bring so much more than just the music. Some facts about the concert. Wacken Festival held every year in Northern Germany. The flaming bulls head is the logo of the festival. 82k+ people And the pipes around Tuomas's (pronounced as it sounds, not Thomas) keyboard are for decoration. this is also one of their older songs.. the band has grown and changed a lot over the years. when you get to the songs off of "Micro" and "Macro" you will likely feel that they are better. i Recommend "Perennial" live at Wacken 2019 and "Retrospection" official music video each of their vids are unique they don't have a set asthetic
