British Girl Reacts To NewJeans (뉴진스) 'Ditto' Official MV (side A & B) 

New Jeans are representing the role idol groups play in the lives of young people who hold them up as an idealised friendship group that they don't have in real life but eventually they move on and forget about the idols (when she starts liking that one guy). At the end she finds the video and is nostalgic about the old memories she had with the idol group she liked in the past. Some of the dancing at the start of Side A and end of Side B is actually the OMG choreo and some of the Ditto dance parts are variations on the routine that has been tweaked and changed up a bit in the dance practices and live shows to keep it fresh and fun.

It's cool how the Ditto MVs have an entire story in them 😊

It's the story between a Fan and the Idols.

The girl behind the camera and watching the video on the small TV is called Ban Heesoo, played by actress Park Ji-hu , who plays Nam On-jo in "All of Us Are Dead". Ban Heesoo has her own YT channel with many videos, mostly clips of Ditto footage but there are 3 Ditto dance practices there too . The videos are nearly all dated from 1998 and 1999 indicating its past old footage from 24 years ago (there are some dated 2023). Nearly all the videos have a message posted by Heesoo in Hangul ( I have translations for all of them!). Some of the messages relate to Ditto and some are connected to OMG also. The boy Heesoo focuses on in some shots is actor Choi Hyun-wook who was in "Taxi Driver", "Racket Boys" and "Twenty five Twenty One".

Hi B, I'm so happy that you're like invested and could relate to Ditto. Me too. First time I heard this song I checked out NewJeans and made me like be a little Bunnie (fandom) for them. Whenever I listen to this song, I always feel sad and alone but at the same time happy. So many have theories about Ditto. Some say NewJeans are imaginary, some say they are real but they're just no longer there. Some say that Heeseo was like the Bunnies and it's the respect and awe being a fan for NewJeans like we find comfort from them but as sad it is we can be hit by reality and can't always see them and be with them as much as we can. So at the end, she all grown up and reminisced at the past happy memories. There's a spoiler dance within the Ditto if you can comeback again after you've reacted to OMG which is the next one. ❤️ Also I watched your friends vlog and I could really tell you're the introverted type. Also I could really appreciate you're really just simple even in the way you wore clothes on that vlog. Like simple comfortable clothes. 😅😁❤️Although hopefully in the future we can also see from you like a vlog. Any vlog that you can upload of course we wanna see you in it. I really feel what you said in the end of the side A. As an introvert myself, It's really hard to build genuine friendship. Thankfully tho, I have a good amount of real friends the solid ones I met during highschool and college. You'll find yours trust me. There is a RU-vid channel called Ban Heesoo which is a part of this story. It has its own OMG MV version. Ban Heesoo is actually Bunnies in Korean accent. NewJeans fans are called Bunnies or Tokkis. That is what the girl represents in the MV, the fans.
