I just watched his interview with 2 Filipinos from NYC, after his Agt performance..His mother died when he was 3 yrs old, he never knew his father who abandoned him.His maternal grandparents took care of him, and an aunt took him in until High school.He took care of pigs, chickens& cows at his aunt’s house, then attend school. He was called Mr Songbird since age 8 in school, always won singing contests, & later sang for money, joined bands, and sang as front man for Marcelito Pomoy, also a Filipino AGT finalist singer with 2 voices…Marcelito Pomoy helped him financially for his wife’s hospitalization & for his visa get to AGT. I also watched on another Ytube channel, Marcelito Pomoy said that he was just going to sleep at sidewalk near the American Embassy because he did not have a place to stay at. This man deserve all the best.He suffered enough in his life. I hopo he wins be a champion.
