I was just thinking and I realized that I've never actually thanked you the Content Creator for what you have done here. Not only have you built a vast library of bipartisan educational and informative content. You've created a community of people who are sharing ongoing discussions on the many issues of the troubles. Civil and respectful discussions and debates to boot. It's because if people continue to talk to each other, exchange ideas, discuss and debate the big issues we will find those good ideas that further change for the better. I am an retired UK veteran and have served in the Provence a number of times, in small select unit. I had heard of the torture third hand on my deployments but never came across anything as as what i have just watched on here. during the supposed peace process from Blair this could have been sorted but no it took a group of strong ladies and gentlemen to join and with their legal system win. the government has a habit of trying to hide facts and at some point a bit of paper pops up to hit them in the ar*e. I hope that the law courts verdict and compensation in due course allows you to sleep soundly at night and keeps the nightmares from your doors. and remember in all origination's and all of those fighting in N/I there a few baddies and in the minority, I hope made sense.

A hard watch to hear the shocking torture of the men. Words fail me. Great video, thank you.

There is no excuse for people to be treated that way, but this is where I get angry. The Provisionals were massively guilty of torture, and not only were they forgiven for it all, they were given a pass for murder too. I don't see any PIRA members up against a judge for any of this. Both sides should be held to account for torture or murder but that's not the case is it.

The best thing is to talk about what went on. Have to get it off your chest. The generation that fought in WW1 and WW2 often had no outlet.

They were animal’s to do that on these men who didn’t deserve it whatsoever,, I know one of the hooded men his name is big joe Clark a gentleman who helped people out not hurt them ,, I broke down watching This video seeing pat shiverss wife talking about him heartbreaking stuff happened to them fella’s so sad for them family’s,, Bahas torcher was inhumane his poor wife and children may he rest in peace that poor man was killed by the British army tactics and they robbed his wife and children of their father ‘My heart goes out to all of the hooded men and all the other people who were treated like that all over the world ,, What gets to me is that the British army didn’t get any further on with information because they had the wrong people in the torcher camps it was then the troubles got worse and worse for the innocent catholic people,, Sad to hear about big joes illness terrible things he went true god bless him,, Rest in peace to the hooded men who have passed away god bless their family’s,, Best of luck to the rest of you brave men,,
