Princess Alexandra never has worn military uniform, but she has worn a Red Cross uniform before. Same goes for the late Diana, Princess of Wales. The current Duchess of Gloucester also has worn uniforms in the past, but those were uniforms associated with St John’s ambulance rather than her military roles. Surviving members of the BRF who have worn British military uniforms (which all royal ladies are entitled to do if they have military roles, honorary or not) are Her Majesty the Queen, Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal and Katharine, Duchess of Kent.
