I’m from Spain and half of the snacks you had aren’t typical 😅 but sugus and boca bits are so popular. Chili crips isn’t from Spain I didn’t saw them in any shop.
Frit Ravich is a Catalan brand and you can find it in Catalonia (i'm from Barcelona), but I've never seen Chilly flavour at any supermarket haha Saludos!!
Hi guys! I’m Spanish, from Sevilla. Sugus are popular, I used to love them as a kid. The dark chocolate and tirma brand are local from the Canary Islands, so you won’t find them anywhere else in Spain, I actually have never eaten them. I never buy Boca Bits, but when I eat them somewhere I remember they are not bad haha but I don’t buy them anymore anyways. I think the bags from the brand FRIT must be an off-brand because I’ve never seen them, maybe that is why they are quite plain not as flavorful as the original brands. Me encantan vuestros vídeos, os veo siempre. Besos desde Italia, donde vivo ahora 😘😘😘
QUICK SPANISH TIP! Vowels in Spanish only have one sound per vowel, whereas in English they can have several different sounds per vowel. This one bit of information helped me so much when I was in Spanish classes!
La Candelaria is only popular in the Canary Islands. It's a chocolate bar that you dissolve in milk on the stove. I don't think people ever eat it raw, it's just to make hot chocolate
I loved this video!! You guys always have great taste haha. That chocolate that you both rated 3 and 4, is usually made to make hot chocolate. What you do is heat up some milk and then place one bar and let it melt completely. I am from Colombia and that is how we make our hot chocolate. Love you guys
I’m a new mother and these are the videos I watch late at night while my daughter eats. I cannot wait to introduce her to some of the things I have been able to try because of your videos - candies, cookies, and chips I’ve never thought to try. I wish you both the utmost success ❤️
I watch your videos with my 3 year old and 1 year old we absolutely love to see you and alex try alot of different snacks, both such wonderful and funny people 😊
I just have to say something after binge watching several of your videos. I love the show but I have also noticed how respectful you are in each of your videos no matter what culture you are reviewing. It really makes me happy!! A lot of British youtubers are snarky (especially when they are trying something from the USA.) Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your videos!!
These videos and this channel is saving me and keeping me sane through this crazy time!!! I find myself having cravings for things I've never tried !!!!! Love it!!!
I love watching these trying foreign candy videos, everytime I see a new video posted I have to make time to watch it. I am such a candy person, I don’t know what I would do without candy. I have wanted to receive foreign boxes for the longest time, however my mom never lets me get any. Therefore, I result to watching your videos! Lol
Hi guys!!! I'm from Barcelona, Spain. Give me a glass of milk= dame un vaso de leche I love this candy = me encantan estos dulces Os han gustado los dulces de España??? (Have you enjoyed spanish candy?)
American here. I've never heard of Gourmet Lay's. I'd sure try them if I saw them though! But we do have Bugles - I used to put them on my fingers as well when I was young! 😁
I love love love y’all’s videos! So much fun to see your reactions! Here in Georgia, United States, we can only find white fudge covered Oreos near Christmas. I’d be more than happy to send some to you guys!
Got my first box from y’all! Have tried all the chips (crisps) so far. Absolutely LOVE the space raiders!! So addictive!! Going to get more, y’all have me hooked!! Hugs!! Just love the box!!
In most cases I would choose milk chocolate over white, however the white chocolate covered Oreos are delicious! I haven’t seen gourmet Lays here in the states yet.
Love when I have a video to sit down with and enjoy. Have a nice dinner and i hope you enjoy watching ☺️ Ah no way, thats awesome! Let us know how we did with picking!
JUST SUBSCRIBED to your ultimate british box!!! I've seen all of your videos and I'm beyond excited to receive my first box! I imagine I wont get one for October, but probably November's box. Either way I'm so so excited! -love from a patient hungry canadian.
¡Me encantaaa ! I love the way you both speak in Spanish ! I'm from Andalusia and your videos are the GOAT! Keep on with the good job 😘😘😘😘 Pd: "Sugus " are pretty famous. They are a classic ;)
Found a Milka bar last week (featured in a previous video you tried) here in USA (North Carolina)... my kids and I all have it a 11!!! Would never have tried it if I hadn’t seen your video... seeing these Milka ones make me want to drive the 30 minutes back to that store to get another... lol
Hi guys! Great video! You definitely did a good choice buying those candies, I’m from Valencia and I think the most typical Spanish candy is the “tubitos”, and yes, we eat it during Christmas. Fun fact, those are also called “barquillos” that’s mean (literally) little or tiny boats. “Pink panthers” are also very popular in Spain
Uh! I'm from Madrid, so it is really nice to see you trying our candy! Some of those are mainly found at gas stations or at the airport (like those "Frit Ravich"), and I have never seen some of the rest (such as the last 2 items, the "Ambrosias" bars. We do have something similar, without the coconut flavour, which is called "Huesitos"), but you have tried some of the most popular candy and snacks we have!. For example, Matutano is a really popular brand that makes most of our salty snacks. The chocolate bar from "La Candelaria" is used for cooking, hence the shape and the texture of it. Great video, guys! :) And, here comes the sentence in Spanish: Los Sugus son un clásico.
I am learning Spanish on Duolingo. I have a student with Autism, who is newly in the States from Mexico. And I am brushing up on my Italian as well. I was brought up in a house with parents and grandparents born in Italy. I feel like I am losing the language I spoke as a child, so I am using Duolingo to bring it back. 🙂
I love spanish candy, my grandfather and mother are both Hispanic and we love our spanish candy. Amos los dulces 🧡 also would love an autumn taste test of your British Foods in the local stores.
I'm from Spain and there were some tings I've never seen before but you also got some really classic typical sweets too. I personally like "bocabits" and I must say that "sugus" really are typical from Spain I think almost every Spaniard knows at least what they are or has tasted them once. As for the easy spanish phrase : Me ha encantado el vídeo
Oh white chocolate filipinos! I just loved them ! You also find them in Portugal so almost every time I go there to see my family or when I go to a Portuguese supermarket here in France, i pick some 🙈. As usual great video ❤️
I loved your video with the candy from my area (Pacific Northwest USA) and this was also so much fun. Kate is so pretty and I love listening to the two of you. I get these boxes from Universal Yums and the Spanish box didn't have any of these items but I wish they did.
That Chocolate called "La Candelaria" and the other ones from the brand called "Tirma" are typical things produced in the Canary Islands 😍 Thanks for sharing, so interesting to see how the flavors take for you! It changes from one country to another, depending on the culture
the chocolate bar that says la candelaria its in Argentina, for example, what we call "chocolate de taza" its the one we often use for baking or we grate it as a decoration in desserts, cakes, etc.
I'm glad you guys uploaded today. I have been having to deal with campus police right now because of an issue. It has been stressful and I am exhausted. thanks for being something that takes my mind off of it.
Hey!!! Love the video! But im from Spain, Seville and I've never tryied some of the candy that you are trying! I would LOVE to show you what is really tipical from here!
I am currently learning Gaelic, I have only been learning about a month and I know about 75 words. I love Duolingo and I learned about it from you two so thank you. 😁
Hi guys! I don't know if someone has said something already but, that La Candelaria chocolate is for making hot cocoa. Just melt it I boiling hot milk( evaporated milk is best), and a couple of cinnamon sticks, sugar to taste and enjoy!
Hey Kate! I'm putting a box together for you guys. Usually the white chocolate Oreos come out for Christmas. Everything comes out early for Christmas here. Keep an eye out for them and I can throw some in the box for you guys to try!
Munchitos highly resemble something we used to have in the U.S. called Muncho's ... very similar I would say though I have not seen them here in a very long time. The original Nestle Chocolate Bars were just pure chocolate, we still get them and we love to use them in Smore's ... graham crackers with a piece of nestle chocolate bar between them and a toasted marshmallow ... delicious especially around a fire. Love watching you two sample the snacks from around the world.
I was the one who commented about putting the bugles on my fingers as a kid and you responded that you would try it sometime. I hope you get that time to see how silly and fun it is When I eat a Kit Kat I eat all the chocolate on the outside on the edges then I pull each layer apart and eat them 1 by 1.
we have something similar to the munchetos things called munchos. the pick ups look amazing. I would separate it and put a melted marshmallow in-between like a smores I bet it would be delish.
You make hot chocolate with those chocolate slabs... in a pot of water you boil water until all the chocolate melts into the water then you add milk and sugar. Best hot chocolate EVER!!!!
Hola!! I come from Gran Canaria. Kate, you picked mostly Canarian candy and crisps. Even though it’s mostly very similar to mainland Spain candy. But I think there are many more delicious things you missed out on. I am currently at University in the UK, but when I go home I will send you guys some of my favorite things to eat. Lots of love ❤️❤️
I'm learning French and Spanish and Russian on Duolingo :P I love the app though, makes it so easy to learn! Nice video from Sweden before btw, since I'm Swedish too! ;)
