BRITISH VOCALIST REACTS To SHINEE Jonghyun & Onew - Please Don't Go (LIVE SHINEE WORLD V) 

This performance of "Please Don't Go" was from their SHINee World Concert V (SWC5) in 2016. This was the last SHINee group concert tour that Jonghyun was involved in before he died. So that is why this is such a meaningful and poignant song for Shawols. On top of being a very beautiful performance, it's almost as if Onew and Jonghyun are singing to each other, asking each other to "please don't leave," etc. which, in hindsight, breaks our hearts every time we hear them sing those lines. Jonghyun and Onew were a POWERFUL combo. Jonghyun, SHINee's main vocalist, is known as one of the best vocalist in Kpop. And not only was he a singer, but he was one of the very first idols to become known for his songwriting and composing skills. Jonghyun was an expert at conveying emotion through his songs and performance. They are one of the most well rounded groups in Kpop that excel at every aspect of the entertainment industry. SHINee are known for their vocals and their amazing dancing. They are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. And everyone looks up to them. They are considered Idols' Idols. SHINee's rappers are lead vocalists and their main vocalists can hold their own as rappers. There is almost nothing they can't do. About the ONLY thing SHINee is not good at is lip syncing, so they avoid it at all costs. So when you hear them sing about 95% of the time it will be live. And they have trained their entire career to be able to sing live while performing really complex choreography and always sound flawless. They have built a reputation for sounding even better live then they do in their studio recordings. And even other Idols have said, when they perform at the same events as SHINee they are even blown away by how perfect SHINee's raw vocals sound as they listen to them from backstage.

this is the song that inspired exo’s chen to be an idol. he said that previously he only listened to ballads & was prejudiced towards idols, but this song changed his mind & set him on his path/dream. he names jonghyun as his personal idol too.

The way Onew sang the high tone then low then high tone one after another while in harmony with Jonghyun.. seamlessly. Am I the only one noticing that? But fidge seriously JongYu Duet.. their voices fit perfectly together.

Their voices complemented each other so well... Jonghyun and Onew could accompany any singer on a duet and they were going to sound beautiful just like that. Their voices are unique...

This song gives me chills when they do the harmony in the chorus. The thing with Onew is that even when he's singing live his face is so relaxed sometimes i think he's lipsynching (even when you can clearly hear live vocals) and Jonghyun has such a WIDE vocal range and unique tone
