The fact that the high school boys, went home, and made their own Korean inspired food and shared it with their family (and or friends) is a testament to what Korean Englishman is all about. Using food as a gateway for people to learn and expand their curiosity about the Korean culture. This team is such a success and so fun to watch!!

I’m sure Harvey and Ray’s kitchens are full of ssamjang containers. They’re responsible for 75% of the saamjang sales across the UK. I’m sure if given the opportunity they’d come up with something like ssamjang flavoured walkers crisps one day. Their ideal meal deal would be a kimchi toastie, saamjang crisps (to be stuffed inside the toastie) and a milkis. If you didn’t tell them, they’d probably even dip their melona into ssamjang. I’m here for it. I support it. In fact, I encourage it 😌😂

This needs to happen. If ssamjang Walker's (or Lay's as they're called here in the US) was a thing you could buy, I would put on so much weight and barely be upset about it. I could see buying the 'plain' ones and dipping them, but they (US version anyway) are far too salty for that to work.

From Armand's pronunciation of the shop name: 토스트, at 13:01, it sounds like he learnt the Korean alphabet.. 🤔🤔 maybe even learning Korean on his own. If I've guessed correctly, so cool that he has picked it up due to the exposure of the Korean food he tried with you guys

It also could be that he is a French native speaker. French has monosyllables like Korean. I speak both English and French, my French helped me the most with my Korean lessons.

What l loved about Jolly team is they ACTUALLY listened people’s suggestions and l liked the part where they made a special menu for highschoolers . Because these days generally adults don’t listen to young people eventhough they are the ones who will change the future so l think the ideas of kids , teenagers and young people are super important , thank you for giving important to people JOLLY 💛🧡

As a Korean, I'm so grateful and humbled by how much they love the Korean culture and food and try to share it with their own people. This is true appreciation, not appropriation, and they're always teaching and sharing little knowledge about the Korean culture and history. I respect that. Kuddos to you, Korean Englishman channel! Ray’s obsession with ssamjang makes me want to rush to a nearby Korean food shop and buy a pint of it. I never did like ssamjang, but Ray and Harvey make me want to give it another try. When Keaton added that whole lot of spicy sauce on his toast, I was like, “oh, no!” But it went well. I guess? PS: I was a bit _nervous_ about that two guys’ comments because they’re kind of like “food experts”. I’m not even part of this whole Korean Toast crew, but yeah, I’m glad it went well.

I love Emmas attitude about trying the food. She didnt like anything on the first sandwich but still gave it a try, and was saying how maybe she'll like this kimchee even though she hasnt liked it in the past. Idk I just like the optimistic view she has.

조쉬~ 중간에 오래 전 영상을 보니까 정말 초창기 아무것도 없던 시절에 학교 다니면서 꾸준히 영상으로 한국 문화를 체험하고 알리던 그 시절에서 벌써 십수년이 지났네요 그때 부터 지금까지 영국남자가 걸어온 흔적에는 한국인과 영국인이 서로에 대해서 잘 몰랐지만 음식과 문화로 꾸준히 다리 역할을 해준 조쉬와 올리 그리고 가비 그 멤버들의 수고로움과 일관된 신념은 정말 대단한 거 같아요 오래 지켜 봐온 한 사람으로서 그 성과와 공로는 정말 이루 말할 수가 없어요 물론 중간중간 어려움이 없진 않았지만 그래도 버텨준 영국 남자에 고맙고 앞으로도 한국과 영국이 식문화와 더 크게 나아가서 여러 문화를 서로 깊이 공유한다면 양국의 문화와 역사가 남다른 애틋함이 생기겠죠 그런 것들이 서로를 형제처럼 지켜줄 수 있는 문화의 힘이 아닌가 생각해요 그런 의미에서 응원합니다~

The fact that Tom Scott tried to analyze everything about the toast is so Tom Scott. Everyone was giving comments on it and he's the only one asking a question and calling the bread "interesting". I'm imagining him doing a food travel thing, eating food and then analyzing why by going deep into the whole history of how the spices entered the country, the geographical differences on how it was grown.

Guvna B's son is adorable!!!! Funny how his wife doesn't like the ingredients but likes the sandwich enough. Gabie in the background watching them try the kimchi cheese toast clutching her hands like "please like it, please like it" was so cute. Keaton drowning his toast in hot sauce and then asking where the nearest hospital was after taking a bite, lol. Harvey making the kimchi cheese toastie at home and adding CHORIZO??? Brilliant man right there! And his and Ray's complete joy with the ssamjang dip made me smile. I love this friendship just as much as Max and Armand. Armand's reaction to his specialty sandwich was great! He was so tickled by it, loved that laugh! And I'm glad Max was there this time, it was strange without him last time. It's sad you can't open a full on restaurant right now but I'm thrilled you opened a kiosk! You must keep bringing Korean food to the masses! And melt my damn heart, the boys thanking Gabie for the sandwiches was so sweet. The most polite group of young men I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing! Edit: Also, after watching the video where you were in the kitchen and Gabie was making the different varieties, I had to go make a kimchi cheese toastie with the miraculous bag of Kimchi I found in our Puerto Rican supermarket. Definitely the best way to introduce kimchi to someone. The second one, I made a kimchi cheese quesadilla and it was just as good. Maybe someday I can travel to London and try your kiosk.

김치 같은 한국 음식들은 독특하다 보니까 외국인들 입맛에 안 맞을 줄 알았는데 너무 좋아해주셔서 너무 기뻐요! 그리고 고등학생 분들 반응이 너무 웃기고 재밌습니다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 어쩜 표현 방식이 그렇게 창의적인지 들을 때마다 항상 감탄하고 놀라고 있어요. 그리고 한국 문화를 알려주시는 영국남자님께 정말 감사하단 말씀 드리고 싶어요. 덕분에 많은 사람들에게 한국 문화를 알리고 관심 갖게 만든 거 같아요. (And Max I'm your big fan. You are so cute! Please come to Korea later😊)

As someone from England it's nice reading positive comments about the young men. I think we go hard on teenage boys in the UK, only focusing on the bad few. But I do think there are a lot of good lads here who do their parents and communities proud. And the banter, and making fun of each other, you see is a part of every day life in England.
