Been a fan since 1998 and watched her life unfold as I grew up. Been to all her tours and ironically, the best has been during this era, Circus. During the documentary she states she has no passion and it was completely obvious, yet one would question what made the show that good? She is a living legend that fame destroys you. She hates it completely. I am glad she is regaining this confidence that took years to build but only a few months to destroy. Unfortunately, she isn't a person, but a brand. She works for them, yet she controls the show. People talk about how awkward she is these days, but wouldn't you be a nervous wreck? People criticize she has no talent, but why is she so fascinating? It's because she is real. A good ole country girl that struck fame and it slapped her silly. She hates it. And she is terrified of her fans. It's a true monster, but she was, is, and will always be the unconquerable Miss Britney Spears.

I agree she is real and that is exactly what is fascinating about her. Especially since a lot of people thought she was merely a made-up product by the industry, it's easy to see how people could have thought that but she actually has a lot of say in a lot of things. Tying the shirt up in her debut single music video? That was her idea, and in this documentary she was the one making up how she wanted the video to Womanizer to be, deciding she was going to be the same person portraying six people, that's what she wanted it to be. This documentary only made her even more real, it was almost like sitting in a therapy session with her. The interviewer was not up to no good, he didn't have an agenda, he asked questions and allowed her to answer how she wanted as vague or as elaborate as she wanted. She should really take this concept and make a series out of it, releasing one every couple of years or making one alongside her albums like she made this one while working on Circus. She is a strong and powerful person, of all the celebrity deaths that happened around the time of her break-down and many probably thought she would be one of them but she pushed through it and survived, Hollywood tried to take her out like they did the others but they failed, it's honestly incredible.

Why she’s STILL to this very day paying for something that happened nearly 13 years ago is very troubling and sad. That conservatorship is so shady and wrong. This documentary is a masterpiece. I mean after seeing tons of documentaries about her career and her public life it was extremely powerful for her to make her own documentary and invite us into the part of her life we never see, when she is at home or when she is working and getting a ton of information directly from her. I've always been a loyal fan of hers as an artist and yes as a person but this documentary made me even more of a fan of her as a person because I feel like in all these years this was the one thing that allowed me to get to know her the most. In fact, it's what keeps me a fan of her as a person since personally, I have not liked her music post Circus because it changed so dramatically and was nothing like her. I wish she would do one of these kind of documentaries every couple of years so we can follow her life in a film controlled by her where we hear directly from her and not just about her work but about her as a person. I have been wanting to hear more from her since this came out. What has been going on with her since 2008? Yeah I know she made more music, that is easy knowledge, I want to hear what's been going on with her life behind the scenes and what has changed since this time. She made this one while making the Circus album, maybe she should make one with every new album release, I don't think it would be that difficult, she could just do it the way she did this one and I don't expect to invade her privacy but I would like to learn what she is willing to share.

Yeah but you guys have to remember that she is surrounded by a supportive, protective and trustworthy team that her father watches as he is always there, he also has control of everything because they found her incapable of handling life on her own. That is why as soon as he got involved so much of the media coverage on her stopped because he pulled her into isolation, which is sad and she shouldn't have to live that way but it's for her own good. In the documentary she can't even go out on her own anymore, she has to go with people accompanying her and driving her places and they are very strategic about getting her in and out of places with as little run in with paparazzi as possible. They even held up a huge blanket as a wall to keep those awful men from even seeing her.

When I first saw this years ago I thought she was just talking about the paparazzi. She was talking about the conservatorship. When she says she has had to " pay the consequences " she is talking about the time she held her baby in the bathroom & was put on a 5150 hold. People abuse their kids. This was a young mom who got scammed by Kevin federline who was a dancer on her tour & she was isolated w/ him & bc she was lonely this gold digger took advantage of her. Acting like he loved her so much. He got her to the altar very fast & got her pregnant as fast as he could then got her pregnant again right away. He did this bc u get in most states 17% of the persons income for child support & then with 2 kids it goes up to 25% after 2 their is no more increase bc for most people u cant financially break someone over child support. So its funny that when she got pregnant the 2nd time kevin started to cheat started to treat her bad & started focusing on his music career ( lol right ) so as soon as Jayden popped out the custody papers & divorce started. This creep needed to get full custody of those kids so he would be getting a fortune monthly the next 20 years. He gas lit her & I have no doubt he was in cahoots with her dad to make this conservatorship happen bc of course it was in his best interests. Normally she with all the money would have gotten some shark lawyers to get her full custody plus she was the one with the financial means to care for them. Instead he got full custody & I blame the paparazzi & media. She probably was depressed she got taken by kevin as much as she loves those kids , kevin was her downfall. She was sad her marriage ended after 2 years & 2 babies back to back. She also suffered a little post partem . Can u blame her. I'm sure that was triggered by the paparazzi the media the tabloids just hunting her. All she wanted at the time she married kevin after working her butt off since she was a child was to have s family & suddenly that was just gone. So she shaved her head. So what. She did not hurt anyone. I'm sure shaving her head was a symptom of her just having enough. Also kevin totally gas lit her by calling her up saying she could see the kids then he called the paparazzi so when she got there he ripped her Hope's away & said she now couldnt see the kids & she as any mom would be was distraught. So the paparazzi followed a very upset & set up spears at a gas station which led to the umbrella incident. So of course the media had a field day with pictures & video of her bald striking the paparazzi car with the umbrella. So these are all the mistakes she is talking about & the conservatorship is how she payed for them. The saddest part is her saying most people make a mistake & learn from it but she is paying for it by being a slave to her father. After the 5150 her dad that lawyer wallet I think his name is & lou taylor who masterminded the conservatorship with Jamie gave her no break at all. They had her make 2 album mb s back to back that were very successful the blackout album & circus. They had her working non stop making videos & this off the record thing plus they had her on lockdown. No phone no car just working. Wouldnt u think maybe she needed a break ? Maybe go to a spa for a week. Just total r&r. They had this " supposed incompetent " working her a$$ off right away so they could profit. Shows what a strong woman she is. To be a virtual slave which has gone on 13 years. So in the off the record doc of course her dad tries to look like he is so good making her cheese grits & him cheering for her awards . He knew he was being recorded. I remember watching the doc & I did find it odd that her dad was all over that thing living with her barking orders at some asst & him telling her what to do in her womanizer video. This is a man who britney barely saw in years & did nothing to help her career take off. Suddenly he is acting like some guy who knows what makes a good video. What also surprised me was when britney made a post on her sm about how she quit working like that last Vegas residency bc she was done making money for her dad & all the creeps around her & having to dress how he wanted her too on stage & wear all that makeup. She said she hated the clothes the makeup bc wouldnt anyone if their a grown woman & their dead beat father is controlling even what she wears. ( forget the most shocking part that he has forced contraception ! So her reproductive rights have been taken. So in that doc from way back she is talking about wanting to meet a man & have children & move to an island somewhere. So her dad wasted her prime fertility years from 26 to 39. How did this happen to a human being. ? She never hurt anyone she was not a criminal or drug addict. I just hope this boyfriend she has now is the real deal. But u know what if she wants to blow all her money or date someone that isnt perfect that's her choice.

When all the bad stuff happened I feel like if someone had just said “hold on.” And talked to her things wouldve gone better. Like had I been there the night she shaved her head, I would’ve been like “Britney, give me one hour. Let’s order some pizza, let’s talk and if in an hour you still want to do this then I will help you do it.. but just wait one hour.” And if she had expressed that she just needed a break. I would’ve been like “cool, stay with me. Let’s hang. Sleep over. Relax.” That hairstylist she went to that night SOLD HER HAIR! Like TF?! Of all the things I would’ve thought of doing in that moment, selling her hair wouldn’t have been one of them. The documentary had an amazing soundtrack. Don't know if you can find the specific one in this scene but you can find a lot of them by looking it up on google, worth a try. The soundtrack was truly a great addition and so fitting for it, I enjoyed several of the instrumentals.
After watching quite a bit of footage from various different outlets, especially her Instagram, I agree 100% she is being over-medicated, and it seems to be intentional, so her dad can keep her under his thumb. She wants to perform again but not on meds, but her dad won’t allow her to get off the meds because he’s afraid she will “wake up”, so she wants him taken off as conservator. Obviously I don’t know any of these people personally but if you put enough pieces together you can formulate a pretty accurate picture of what’s going on. Her dad is bad news. Did she need some guidance in all aspects of her life at one point? Yes, but not to this degree or length of time. I pray for her. She is a truly genuine person. I believe she is a strong person and somehow someway will find her way out of this prison and gain her independence again.
She tends to be dishonest at lot or give half truths. The only thing that i felt emotion and sincere honesty is when she did she was sad. She won all major categories including the big “Video Of The Year” award for , Piece Of Me. I hate when the fakeness is so obvious that i lowkey felt a disrespect for the other nominees.

She still had hope of the conservatorship ending, since it only began as a temporary conservatorship which was supposed to end after the Circus tour. Unfortunately, they made it permanent for whatever reason and that’s when she really changed. She was heavily drugged during the Femme Fatale era which explains the voice change.
