10 year old Britney Spears on Star Search. She sings I Don't Care and Love Can Build A Bridge. No copyright infringement is intended upon the respective owners.
2Bdiscovered imagine still being this upset and pressed... my friend you need a hobby if all your gonna do with your time is talk shit about Britney all over the internet
The girl Britney won from just left and didn't even look at her. Britney looked at and hugged her competitor and bowed after she left. At 10 years old. Can't get more pro than that. Star quality was there from the start.
Where the music industry failed Britney BIG time was to help her evolve her voice. They didn't help her grow her voice, or allow her singing voice to mature and progress out of that "bubblegum pop baby voice." Sure, it was that distinctive voice that made her unique and popular but when you watch her sing when she was REALLY young (Star Search 1992, this concert) you hear that her voice was destined for a bigger and more powerful sound. She had it in her. But the music labels and the music industry completely ignored that, they didn't give two sh***s about her voice. They just wanted whatever would make them the most $$$ and stick to that. Can you imagine what kind of performer she could've been if they really trained and worked her voice? She probably would've been strong enough to always sing live AND do her amazing choreography. Britney is my idol and I love her to death but it makes me sad when I watch these early concerts because of the potential she had in the vocal department.
Good thoughts. Just some friendly advice even though I know you didn't ask for it. You can admire someone but please don't idolize them. The more people idolize musicians and movie stars the more they try shaping their own lives and talent around them. Being your own person with your own ideals is what you should strive for. I was a striving musician who had admired and respected a certain drummer for years so much so that I never created my own style or my own voice. I was to busy copying something that had already been done. It hurt me as a musician because I had to start over to find myself. So please don't idolize anyone. Be you, and the world will be better for it!! Best of luck!!!
apiece ofdirt You can't dictate to another person how they should feel. Just because you couldn't distinguish the two feelings idolatry and admiration, which you said caused you to copy rather than create artistically speaking, doesn't mean someone else wouldn't be able to. Also, the OP didn't say she was an aspiring singer..?
kijiji93 I hated that too. I love this more mature voice from her. She's lost that now. I don't think she could perform with her real voice now even if she tried. Sad, really.
Brit has been nice since then, noticed she wanted to shake hands with the gurl and the tap at the back with the boy! Thats why ive always love brit since elementary! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 love you my queen
She was experiencing judgement since 10, and still people are so mean to her, how can she possible be a secure and self confident woman....she deserves the whole world's love...how much i love her!!!
she was so humble, and sweet until now.when she won against that little girl she wastrying to hands and when she loss against the boy, her hug was really genuine. I love her
dede king she mostly only lip syncs because a lot of her songs are upbeat and have a strong dance routine. In some of her tours she tries to sing whilst she's dancing as well
Brandon Ryan Their routines aren't as hard as britney's were. I agree, sometimes she should be able to sing and she doesn't which is silly, but even in her vegas shows, her dancing isn't as strong but it would still be pretty hard to sing at the same time.
everyone's different, I get it, and depending on her health as well but Beyonce, Gaga and such kill it and still sing live. anyhow, whatever her reason I think it's unfair for the fans who pay to see her sing live though they mostly care to just see her.
Are u guys kidding me? She is nothing like Judy Garland. The only thing they have in common is that they are both famous. Judy was an actress and a vocalist, Britney is dancer, basicaly.
i do really cry when i saw britney got LOST,but she show that she have a BIG HEART.SHE hug that boy (competitor who won), and britney leave the stage with smile,SO DIFFERENT WITH A LITTLE GIRL WHO LOST AND BRITNEY TRY TO SHAKE HER HANDS TO THAT GIRL...WHAT A STAR QUALITY!! LOVE HER TILL THE END!
if you wanna hear britney at her best voice, search "let go" it's a song sung like this without editing. never made the cut to her blackout cd but great song and vocals! people need to hear it.
Young children and teens tend to have cleaner and generally better balanced voices than when they become older singers with a few exceprional talented cases. Most of the music by them now older famous singers when they were young tends to be really better, no questions asked.
she gave her hand to that girl who had fail ..and that girl just ignore her but when Britney spears fail ... she still hug the winner. she is really kind person ! but luckily Britney is the biggest star right now..
I don't know if anyone knows this, but 20 years ago today on December 7, 1991, Britney Spears left Louisiana and went to perform on Star Search. She had barely turned double digits.
this is an example, that ahows that no always winning you win. cause Britney loste in this competition but she didn't imagine what the future would bring to her years later.
She didn't lost her voice ... her label company made her sound girlish and childish Cause that voice is more relatable to the GP. She can sing like that listen to the ''The beat goes on'' live, perfume and most of the Britney Jean album tracks ... her unreleased songs like everyday, let go, baby boy, ouch. She's still can sing maybe not like she used to when she was 15 years old but whatever she's the Queen with or without voice.
Britney Spears is the Pop Princess! She earned the title and her fame on her own. So please stop comparing Britney to other artists like Lady Gaga. Britney is Britney! Britney Spears is The Pop Princess PERIOD.
She still has that voice, just doesn't use it. Your voice cannot change that drastically, it is physically impossible. If you'r born with it, you have it. I'm sure it lost some power but she for sure still must have the deep raw voice which she doesn't show off.
Who knew this little 10 year old girl would later be crowned as the Princess of Pop? I really wish Britney's record company would allow her to sing with her real voice instead of using auto-tune. I will always love Britney but I much prefer her music from the 90s and early 2000.
Yes. I think a good family would have protected her more. Jive only wanted to use her as a bubble gum Lolita. She was young, she could wait and mature, then sign with another label. Instead, they threw her to wolves
@mizskybird It's true. Britney has even said many times herself that SHE was the one who pushed her family to support her being famous. She wanted it, she was willing to make the sacrifices. Though things did turn out rough, im glad she did follow her dreams, cos now she's a legend
From this video, we know that Britney deserves what she has reached now. Look at her, though she lost from her competitor, she still gave him a warm hug to congrat him. But the first champion girl at the first, mmm, who is she, she has no star aura n arogant, she didn't accept Britney's handshake.
