This is actually the band I'm named after and I can honestly say I'm proud to have been named after great rock band Britney is the greatest I still have the Britny Fox music video from the 80s still works
this song should’ve been a hit!!! there are so many talented musicians from the eighties that truly never get the recognition they deserved and it’s honestly upsetting.
This song was a hit. Girlschool did much better than it should have. Funny, I accuse them of being a "Poor man's Cinderella", not knowing that half this band was in Cinderella just before the recording of Cinderella's debut album "Night Songs". I wonder where he got the idea to sing lead in and out of falsetto?
it is a hit to you and to me and a bunch of other people unfortunately the record labels don't have a freaking idea what good music is because they have their heads up their asses back in the day ... And still do today to be honest with you because as you can tell there's no good music even today that will ever come close to what was back in the day... stay frosty my friend long live rock and roll 🤘🤘.
The thing is, there were a million bands that all played this same song, wore the same makeup and used the same hairspray. In September of 1991 they ALLLLLL disappeared overnight. There's a reason for that.
Wow, brings me right back to 1989 when I was freshman in HS. Riding that damn bus and listening to this song was a great escape. Looking forward my third period class every morning hoping to see Kara sitting in front of me. This cd didn't leave my backpack for months! Has the perfect amount of rock, feel good swagger. Still to this day, I listen to this band. Bite Down Hard's track Look My Way has the same feel to me. As for Kara, nothing became of it cause my friends said she was ugly but I didn't think so. Shouldn't have listened to them. Man, today's music I feel doesn't even come close to what the 80's/early 90's brought us. It provided soundtracks to some awesome memories.
I now right where youre at dude ... I feel 15 again listen to this stuff. Man already invented time travel, its right here in the music of the 80's Metal bands ...
I honestly believe that either the record company or MTV didn't push this single because it should have gone top 40. This is much better than Save the Weak. Boys in Heat has some very strong material. The cover of Hair of the Dog is the best I've ever heard.
Saw Britny Fox live opening up for Poison back in 1989 on the Open Up and Say Ahh Tour. This was an 80s band that could've been bigger. Even their follow-up to their self-titled debut called, Boys in Heat was good. Damn you grunge music! I know, times change. But I sure miss the 80s and feel good music!
+80sHairBandFanToo I agree the grunge music ruin the heavy metal, hard rock music, but also the self indulgence of so many opportunistic bands made by the record labels with more pose than music. we the ones that lived and enjoy this music didn't found good music to follow through the 90's and i'm sure if we had it we would support it, and would show MTV and the music industry our demand would had to be noticed.
Great band. Saw then at my go to club, The Empire Rock Club in Philly. Damn I miss the 80's, Great music, real rock clubs, women galore and not a care in the world.
but Dizzy quit the band soon after the 2nd record was released. in the middle of a tour Dizzy quit. very, very lame. Dizzy let down all their fans and the band/the crew
Some of my best highschool memories has this album ( or rather , cassette ) playing in the background. As well as the first one too. They rocked. Still love it all today.
No idea why this song wasn't a huge hit since it's a classic (and good) radio-friendly song from an era when this type of band still had airplay. Even now it's completely overlooked, as the only Britny Fox songs I ever hear on Sirius (Hair Nation) are Girlschool and Long Way to Love
my brother introduced me to this band. I was a big Cinderella fan at the time and noticed the similarity in the music. I loved their 1st album and after hearing this song, I was like taken away, really enjoyed it. now, tastes have changed and things have changed and now as a death metal singer, this song still takes me away. I love it
+Too Wild according to several I can't I guess. I'm tone deaf so I always record my voice and play it back. Lower tones I sou do pretty decent I guess, but I like the intensity and aggression death metal provides, helps to release a lot of stress and my growls sound pretty good
Andy Zaring I was just fucking with you dude.Although death metal was never my genre.I find that most are very talented musicians, the vocals I can't deal with, but hey, that's just me.Carry on !
I never forget Bite down hard album which is really a peak of the glam metal. Really talented and unfortunately forgotten band. The 3 albums they made was close to perfect!
This song is one of my favorite songs from these guys, when I get lost I remember that life with all it's experiences is still worth the adventure. Dream on & Rock on, will see each other in the end 👿:)!!!+++
A great song Dizzy Dean has a powerful beautiful voice that touches everyone's heart a good song writer great guitar player. A great video that made you dream about your life. Britney Fox was a good 80s band great growing up in the 80s MTV Head Bangers Ball when heavy metal rock music was great 😎🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸🎸🌹🌹❤️❤️🏋️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🎸🎸🌹
I remember them well they were on the chart when I was just a kid heading in to my teenage years . There were so many bands spawning up every day back in the time hair band
Ummm are you saying that you don't understand the words ?? I can sing this sone from beginning to end I know all of the words ...I also sing this song along with standing in the showdows, girlschool & long way to love too my daughter ever night
I love dizzy and he is the sexiest rock god ❤i hope the songs are in my head and I am looking for a rock god and the band members are the sexiest rock gods
Hoje em diante não se faz tão belas canções como essa, pois uma linda canção sempre teve um sentido, conquistar os fãs com muito respeito e amor, valeu Britny Fox, dream on é super d+
