Le dernier jour. Par temps merveilleux avec soleil, vent et pente favorite, sortie des grandes plumes et surtout l`Arcus 1:3. Ce vol symbolise l`essentiel du vol de pente: Faire évoluer son planeur à la hauteur des yeux du pilote. Régalez vous !!

I managed to work out the location just by viewing the videos and comparing what they show to Google Earth. Didn't take too long.

Vous avez de la chance de pouvoir le faire! Quand une programme du BBC voulait faire traverser la Manch avec un planeur maquette, ils ne sont pas arriver d'avoir la permission des authorites francaises de le faire atterir sur la cote entre Calais et Boulogne. Ils voulait le larguer d'un ballon au desus d'Angleterre, puis arriver a moins de 1000m au pas de Calais. Eng: You're lucky to be able to fly in France. When a BBC program wanted to cross the Channel with a model glider, they couldn't get permission from the French authorities to land on the coast between Calais and Boulogne. The intention was for a balloon launch over England, with a fairly low approach to France (less than 1000 metres) Finally, they flew it from Bristol to Lundy Island, which is the same distance - but with less prestige!

Rex Silverback Thank you Rex for your kind mention. En effet pour moi filmer un planeur en vol de pente où en falaise doit toujours réunir l` aspect majestueux de la nature environnente et de l` object filmé. J` essaie d` ajouter une musique calme et inspirative, qui s` adapte (à mon avis !? ) bien. Comme tu le disait, meditatif, pour moi aussi !! Thank you.
