Almost fell for it too. Went to African braid shop n they tried put extensions in my shit sayin it was too small to braid. I rolled out went back to da hood n got gel twists. Fuck allat
The thing is it will grow and he won’t have to go through the ugly stage and his hair will keep growing and he can cut the extensions out just like a hair trim

watching them grow is kind of worth it. I know someone who’s had dreads since they were a small kid, they reach a little past his waist now (for perspective, he’s around 6’3)
@@nerdfantasyxox. Nah it is tho. Extensions is super feminine and I’ve said this to every single person who I’ve had a conversation about this topic with. I’ve been asked plenty times if my locs are mine, I’ve had em for 8 years and they’re almost at my waist. I answer politely although it irritates me because I’m not a female and I’m Not gay. I believe extensions should be reserved specifically for women. If a man wants long hair he should grow it himself. Not go get fake or someone else’s hair put in theirs. HOWEVER I don’t care if someone does it. I won’t get mad at them. I just wouldn’t do it myself and I do believe it is very feminine and shouldn’t be done. Edit: Also you saying let people do them. So why can’t I have MY OWN opinion then? It’s all about letting others do and believe what they want right? So why are we wrong for believing males shouldn’t do it? Same thing LGBT mfs do when they say we MUST accept them as true females cause it’s what they believe and how they feel. But I DISAGREE and I won’t be made to agree.
