I'm also from PA, so it's nice to see innovative products come out from here. I'm always messing around with my equipment and seeing if I could make it to fit my hunting lifestyle. About 5 to 7 years ago, I've even messed around with making a simple hang-on treestand into a hybrid climbing platform. I've been thinking about doing the same climbing attachment to my tethrd XL platform. I think you're definitely unto something good here. Wish you success and best of Luck 🎯👍

It would be awesome if you could post a live demonstration video from the time you cam it over to adjusting the angle, while in the saddle.

I accidentally posted this comment in the wrong place. I believe you removed your climbing demonstration from RU-vid. Perhaps because it was an earlier model. Your platform has 4 weight bearing metal connections. If these make any metallic noise at all it is a no sale to a stealthy hunter. I spent 20 seasons using a Lone Wolf climber. It was my “Silent Partner.”Setting up the base was extremely simple. The concept you propose will have to meet the same standard. I one stick now with a newly released product. If a metallic sound is caused it is my own fault. When the climbing/caming platform concept reaches the mainstream saddle hunting market it will have the engineering and machinery of the Lone Wolf climbing base along with a center post. Your company is young and seems to have a positive innovative approach. You may be the ones to get it there. Best wishes. God bless.

Thanks for your input Tom. Our next model is coming out in January. It will not make any noise as there will not be any Pins. Stay tuned!

Again. we're back to being limited to trees without branches. Climbing sticks are still superior imo

@MrTumorHumor since it’s small you can absolutely branch hop with it. Just as you would need to with a tether and linesman with sticks. With that being said the climbing rigging can easily be removed and you can use just like a platform with climbing sticks. Our system allows hunters to make the decision. Don’t pick a tree based on its climb-ability, pick it based on the probability of successful hunt. Lot’s of hunters have woods where the canopy is high and sticks won’t get you high enough without being skylined by deer. Sounds like in your area this isnt the case. This system limits the amount, if any, sticks you need to take in, and the climbing rigging can be packed up easily in your bag. Appreciate your opinion.

Do you sell the tree rope ? Would like to replace some old cables on a couple old climbers? Also is there a place where I could see your new stand I’m located in east Stroudsburg Pa not to far from you. Thanks
@BroadsideStands
@BroadsideStands 8 месяцев назад
In the future, we plan to offer the climbing ropes separately. However, we advise against using our climbing rigging on other stands due to potential damage from sharp edges or casting burrs. Our Mark II stand is designed to protect the ropes with smooth fillets on the quick tie-down areas. If you're interested, we'll be at the Mobile Hunters Expo in Mannheim, PA, in August 2024, where you can test it out firsthand!

If I were to buy one within the next two weeks, will it come with the rubber coated tree cord? I know you said it was a prototype in this particular video. I’m considering the 8ft model. I initially liked this design, but didn’t like the amsteel tree cord. I’ve noticed the change to the stiffer rubber coated model, and now I’m very much considering purchasing one as this would work for both a fiat good stand alone platform which I need, and also and great run and gun climbing setup as well.

Yes we ditched the Amsteel cord and now the stand comes standard with the rubber coated one you mentioned. We created a drop down menu for you to select how long you want this cord to be too.
