People can follow what you do in their own life
Ami is spectacular and so generous with how she shares herself and how she eats/thinks/prepares to live a value-aligned lifestyle! Love her! Thanks for showcasing her on your show again, Chef AJ!
I Love Broccoli Mum! I just found her. She popped up on my youtube feed. She is Awesome for Mom’s and Mum’s to see all over the world. She shows how the food can be so SIMPLE and Delicious and that KIDS Love.❤️ Much luck to her and her family. 😘
I agree with one of your other viewers. Broccoli Mum (Amy) has had a major impact on my plant based journey. I am a type A personality which caused me to make this journey too complicated. Watching Broccoli Mum has really helped me with learning to keep things simple. I love her optimistic outlook with such a laid back style. Keep it up Amy!!
If frozen garlic is not readily available, buy a large jar of minced garlic or mixed garlic and ginger them portion it into icecube trays. When frozen, store in a large ziplock bag in the freezer and it is ready to use when required.
@@MegInASheathDress I grow and buy a shopping bag full of garlic which stays fresh, no mold, stored on the kitchen counter. So much cheaper as you say.
I found Ami because of chef aj so am pleased to see you both again. Like Ami I'm a volume eater and so is my husband. Need to get soups back into my diet. What Ami is is authentic. That's why she's loved. Only difficulty is the salt. Because we follow Dr Greger's DAILY DOZEN app and How Not To Die book he's convinced me to exclude salt of all kinds. I lost 2 kgs in the early days just because I stopped salt in my food. Also myself and my husband's blood pressure got into the healthy range. Love love love watching Ami especially because I'm from the NE England and there's not many whole food eater influences here. My Mum put me off potatoes and grapes telling me they're fattening and grapes are tiny bags of sugar 😮 where did this bs come from? Slimming clubs? I'm 58 now and 7 years ago I learnt that wasn't true... better late than never! Thank you Chef AJ.
Broccoli Mum is my favorite vegan WFPB teacher! Finding her has been a game changer. So relatable and so many fantastic recipes and strategies. Yes! I would love if she had a regular spot on Chef AJ Live❤
I so appreciate Amy and all her wonderful recipes. She has really made a Huge impact on my health journey! I always look forward to her reels and utube videos! She’s a very sweet, down to earth girl! Love that! Best of luck with your book, and future endeavors! ❤️ !
I love Ami! She is so down to earth and practical! I have all her meal plans and her fantastic Indian cookbook. She has been my motivation and really helped my move to a plant based diet.
love love Ami! Chef AJ, there is a special place in my heart for your apartment kitchen that you mentioned. This is the place where I learned, via RU-vid, that I could sauté without oil, and that I could get healthy with vegetables. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do.❤
I love Ami! She is so real! Thanks Chef AJ for having Broccoli mum on again! I watch everything she does and have all her recipe books! I have learned so many habits from her that I continue to do! And such a simple way with ingredients and her love to make all things plant based it has sure helped me in my thinking when putting food together! She is amazing! And so are you Chef AJ for all you do and all you bring to us. Love, love, love this plant based life and the people in it!!
❤broccoli mum. I can’t eat soy but we have “Sunfed not chicken “ here in New Zealand made from yellow peas and it has a meaty texture and it is low in fat and sodium and is the most healthiest meat substitute I have found. I think it is exported around the world.
Love Ami, I think she is so creative in the kitchen and a great personality. She keeps things real day to day which people relate to and feel they can improve their lifestyle eating this way. I would like to wish you and your family a very happy and healthy New Year. Much love from Spain ❤
I agree with the other comments that Ami is so great to watch! I’m a huge fan of her channel. Would also love for her to have a regular spot on Chef AJ Live! Thanks to everyone! Happy, healthy, joyful and Starchy New Year to everyone! ❤❤
Love Ami and her energy 🥰 I follow her diligently on RU-vid and she has been amazing by doing a video everyday up to recently and watching her RU-vid videos with her inspiring recipes and gorgeous kiddos and of course lovely James ( every now and then) has been a highlight of my RU-vid watch list 😍 I live in London UK and I am delighted that she has so many followers in US and now having regular appearances on Chef AJ show ( which is my other favourite RU-vid channel)🤩🤩
Chef AJ I’m not sure if you have a sprouts near where you live, but they have a soy free tofu made from fava beans which is pretty good. Happy to see you both, I’ve been following Ami since she started on RU-vid. She’s genuine and she definitely keeps me going a lot of times with her recipes and her encouragements. I’ve learned a lot. One of my favorite dishes that I used to get before I stopped eating all that oil was a dish that had potatoes and spinach and it was spicy. Don’t remember the name of it but I always got that.
I love volume eating as well. Thank you Chef AJ for featuring Broccoli Mum. I know people who have no issues with trying a bite of something rich and moving onto something else. For me, this small bite triggers a strong desire to have the whole thing! I would rather not have that small bite at all. Nuts are a huge trigger for me as well. I would love to find a recipe book dedicated solely to showing alternative ingredients to nut and seed recipes (i.e. dips, desserts, salad dressings, etc) that still taste amazing.
Ami has been kindly sharing her weight loss secrets, her impressively inventive recipes and some of her lovely family’a life, and I love it all! She is very knowledgeable, inspiring and her kids are the cutest! Thank you, Chef AJ for having Ami on again. And, thank you, Ami, for once again sharing your awesome tips and tricks for weight loss and healthy, delicious eating. I am excited to read yours and Snigdha’s book, which I just bought from your website.❤. All the best for the New Year, Ladies!
Reaction to rhe question on warfarin: A plant based diet contains high amounts of vitamin K and it is my experience that it is very difficult to keep the vitamin K amount in your daily meals constant as it differs from food to food . For example broccoli and parsley contain very much vitamin K and cauliflower or romain lettuce and arugula much less. I know the amounts of vitamin K in my food (cronometer) and adjust my daly vitamin K intake bij drinking a green smoothie every day in the afternoon: if there was already a lot of vitamin K in my daily meals I use very few greens in the smoothie an if there was not so much vitamin K in my daily meals I use more greens such as spinach, parsley and broccoli. In this way I can realize a constant daily intake of vitamin K and achieve a stable setting on warfarin.
Great show ChefAJ! Love Broccoli Mum, recently started following her and I absolutely love her videos, so real and natural 🌱 💚🫶🏼 Definitely want her Indian cookbook, have been searching for one just like that, hubby and I loooove Indian spices and cooking..🤗🤗🤗 wish it was in print but understand, I’ll print out our favorites ☺️💚
Would Broccoli mum consider doing something like Mamasezz? My older one got through college thanks to Mamasezz whom I first watched on Chef AJ. Shoutout to Chef AJ for that!! Looking for something similar for the younger one in London:)
I love Broccoli Mum's youtube video's! And was so glad to see her here with you Chef AJ. But I do have a question, I looked up (Broccoli Mum's cookbooks), but my question how can I figure the cost of them here in the USA? (£18.75 Price or £7.00)? Any help would help please and thank you
Honoring circadian rhythms is a great health-booster. Largest meal at noon, eat half that amount for dinner/supper. Take care of the digestive fire. I tried the no SOS diet for a while and it made me quite sick. Not right away but over time. Ayurveda works best for me. Keeps the lymph flowing!
How does Indian food work for inflammation in the body. I am on Warfarin and the medication can be adjusted I didn’t realize until A.J. answered that question. I thought I could not do fruits and vegetables only so I stopped listening but my new AWARENESS to FAST FOOD and DRUGS on television everyday with side effects and you take it and die taking the medication which ONLY just manipulated my biochemistry saying, “see it’s better,” but not really symptom not cause.
