Lol. The great thing about Kevin Abstract is that he's trying to make "gay lyrics" as normal as "straight lyrics". He's essentially trying to say being gay is not a big deal, at all.

Kevin did that on purpose. That's the whole point of saying the line, it's to throw people off. I get that you may not want to hear it but that's his point. He wants to make people like you feel uncomfortable so that you can start to be more comfortable with lyrics like that.

One of the best things about Brockhampton is the fact that they accept Kevin's sexuality and allow him to spit blatantly gay lines on songs that have ALL of their names on it. Kevin doesn't have to explain anything or ease you into shit, mate. That came across really bigoted.

This album is incredible

I think the album title SATURATION explains how the tracks on this progress from agressive to softer. They started from dark colors and track after track its shades gets grayer and grayer until it becomes light. It started-off agressive af and in the end we get the chillest vibe. Love this album. Some reviews/reviewers get pissed that its not meant to be a full on rap/ hip hop album; BROCK isa a bunch of kids with a shitload of wild creative ability and technical skill that hasnt completely coalesced yet, but this is a great start, imo. love this album through and through. 9/10 for me personally. the outro on milk had me damn near crying and the way it transitioned into face was gorgeous too. the outro had a really nice frank ocean vibe (probably because Kevin loves Frank and is a huge fan) i thought the bangers were some of the best i have heard all year. gold and bump specifically just destroy all the expectations i had about this group. outstanding production. bars on bars. good messages. listen to this album! and if you haven't please check out kevin abstracts american boyfriend project too ao you have a deeper understanding of him. shoutout to jabari, robert, romil, kiko, dom, hk, and everyone els that I'm missing. pat yourselves on the back amd make more fantastic music.

FYI each rapper has their own name and individual projects, they aren't like purposefully hiding their stage names. If you look up the lyrics to any of their tracks on rap genius it will say who's rapping on each verse.
