My favorite Brodie Lee matches are the ones he had with AJ Styles. Those matches showed how good he can be. He was so over with the kids also. Back in 2017, I was at a swap meet and someone there was selling WWE Action Figures and Luke Harper was one of them. These group of kids were looking at all of them but when they saw Luke, they were literally begging their mom to buy them Luke Harper. It was incredible to see something so small yet so cool.

Vince hates southern accents, but yet he begged talent to make a southern accent.

When it comes to the Jericho/Wyatt thing, you got your timelines all messed up. Wyatts debut on WWE TV in the summer of 2013. Jericho returned in June 2014 and the Wyatts attacked him there. HBK retired in 2010. That HBK idea would have led to Summer Slam 2014. Jericho goes through it in great detail in his fourth book, which I’d highly recommend.

Maybe it's just me, but I think if Brodie fought a bit harder he could've made a change like he did when he was included into the battle royal. I hope he does well in AEW.

Funny you bring up the Harper/Styles fued (if you can even call it that). The only thing I even remember about that time is when Styles went to the back (I think during talking smack, another great idea that Vince poo poo'd on), and he got in Shane's face, and basically told him "I'm going to WrestleMania and thats just the way it is"! In other words, dont get in my business when im wrestling. He even said something like "since when do commissioner's reatart matches, they dont do that in baseball or football" lol. Which of course led to Styles/Shane at WM. The point being, if thats all I can remember about his fued with Styles, I can understand his frustration, and wanting to leave that company first chance he got! Im happy for Brodie Lee, and I know he's going to thrive in AEW!

It's depressing knowing how much of the brief life he had left was wasted in WWE. At least he made it to AEW, since Vince would not have given a shit about the family he left behind like Tony Khan does. I hope -1 becomes a great wrestler one day.

AEW should be careful not to go after Vince too much and overshadow their own talent. This will make Vince and WWE sympathetic. They gotta keep focused on their product. I don't want AEW making the WCW mistakes

Ask JR, the defining voice of the Attitude Era - strongly considered the best period in WWE history - what Vince McMahon feels about Southerners. And ask us one more question: why are viewers turning out of WWE in droves and leaning into AEW? Because AEW likes it fans; a novelty.

I would've loved to see the sophisticated smart collector Harper gimmick. Like imagine a modern day Bruiser Brody, backstage he dissects how he's gonna win how he plans everything out. And once he goes through the curtain he's the beast unleashed. Outside of Wyatt Harper was my favorite family member, he did deserve better. I feel once this whole virus thing dies down AEW should have some sort of secondary championship or prize and let Brodie win. Also with the story of the bludgeon brothers being shown a picture of demolition on who they should be, I now imagine the same for the ascension but just shown a picture of the road warriors.

At least in the end, Tony gave Brodie the best run of his career, too bad he didn't last long enough cause he would've put over Darby and probably feuding with Hangman Page.
