Options, options, options. You got me looking differently at those bags. Just picked up my own Bobber and thanks to videos like yours customization is all about doing you so please continue to do so. Rock on
Good content, keep it coming! I too bought the bobber for the platform / looks, and I'm still glad I did. It seems to be one of those bikes that you can build up from very easily. I put .50cal ammo cans on mine and use them pretty much every day. I've also seen guys do the opposite and strip them down even more. Totally depends on personal preference, but I think any motorcycle becomes that much more functional by adding any amount of storage.
thank you for taking the time to do and upload these videos. your videos have helped me a lot. i don't have the scout bobber yet, but hopefully i will have one soon. your videos helped to decide to get the bobber.
I like the look, but I got the sissy and the bag on my bobber, but I do like the swing arm bag. Looks nice, I’ve been following you from the beginning so it’s nice to see how your bike has transitioned over time.
I'm a function over form person and a guy who commutes to a steel mill carrying tools, gym gear and enough food for a 12 hour shift so saddlebags are a must. I don't think bags detract from the aesthetics.
I have a 2021 Bobber with the Ends Couio Tomahawk bag. It’s amazing. If you put cheap bags on a bobber you ruin the look. When you put Ends Couio you honestly upscale the look.
cuOio (the O in the middle is not silent) yeah, yeah.. I know.. annoying italian stickler lol Jokes aside.. having a bike names "bobber" doesn't mean it has to look like every other bobbed bike. Plus, to be honest, is YOUR bike: you like it? I'm happy you do! Amazing video man.. love it like always having your insights and opinions.
Wow ! Your bike has come a long way . Looks great and who cares what people think about the bike. It works for you ,its functional and it looks great ! Can you do a review on the license plate mount elocation ,does it have a light to aluminate the plate and is it DOT approved ? Thank You so kindly. Cheers
You are the fifth person to ask me to do one on my license plate bracket. I'll spin that up in a week or two soon as I can. You can easily run a light to illuminate the plate - but the brake lights (running lights at night) provide the necessary illumination required here in Texas.
Unfortunately ,here in California there's a VC code that requires a light specifically for license plate illumination and it has to be a white LED or incandescent bulb. No blues ,reds, no other colors period . Looking forward to the video .Also, how tall are you ? just getting a feel for the running boards Thanks
have you ridden in the rain with those bags? doesn't look to water proof, I take it you have to use some sort of dry bag also? the sissy bar is that just to carry more luggage?
So the bags are fine unless it's a downpour, but yeah in almost all cases I use dry bags anyway. The dry bags also help with compression so I can pack more if needed. As for the sissy bar, yeah it's if I'm going on a really long trip. My Sturgis trip I used by sissybar
Do you feel like the heat on the saddlebag will cause damage? I have the same exhaust and just ordered the bags. If its a (it just gets hot) situation ill just pick what i pack on that side.
@@dadwithabike haha i know how it feels man. Your memphis shade is growing on me. I have the 1901 now.. the more i watch and re watch your vids the more I see the point in having it
