You could have Boseiju'd the shifting woodland in response to them activating it to become omniscience. It would have been destroyed and the activation would have fizzled

The Six + Fury interaction is crazy! Throw some Beans or Cabaretti Revels in the mix and it seems like you might be able to win or go off and draw a ton of cards.

Okay, I'm pretty sure the Six/Fury interaction is a bug. That is, you should be able to Evoke Fury from the graveyard, but you should still have to discard a land to do it. I found a comment on the MagicTCG subreddit from 25 days ago claiming that this Six also lets you Evoke Nulldrifter without discarding a land, so I assume all Evoke cards are bugged like this.

Not a bug. I actually think replacing the casting cost is correct ruling. JUDGE!

@@Takobyte No, Retrace is an additional cost, Evoke is an alternate cost. They should work together. Either way I posted about it on /r/askjudges. The only reply I got so far agrees that it's a bug. There's apparently a patch today so I'll wait for the patch notes, and if they didn't fix it I'll report it to WotC.

@@Takobyte It should be a bug. Per rule 702.74, Evoke is an alternative cost and per rule 702.81 Retrace is an additional cost. The alternative cost of evoke should replace only the base mana cost and not any additional costs. Per rule 601.2f, "The total cost is the mana cost or alternative cost (as determined in rule 601.2b), plus all additional costs and cost increases, and minus all cost reductions." So for this interaction, we start with the alternative cost of exiling a red card, then add in the additional cost of discarding a land.

I'm always bringing in blood moon against shifting woodland omni-tell, even 2 color. It's strange to me not to. It's gotta be better than bonecrusher. It's one of my premium pieces of interaction from my perspective...
