Broken Xbox 360 Update (Preview Dashboard July 2015)

My Xbox 360 is in the preview program, so there are regular updates on the console., it's on wired with a FTTC connection of 65Mb/s.
The dashboard update was prompted for an update on Thursday 6th August 2015 and failed with the error message: "Can't download the update. To test your connection, open System Settings and select Network Settings, Test Xbox Live Connection.
Status Code: 442C - 0000 - 3080 - 0506 - 8007 - 2746
I've tried clearing the disc cache, updating from USB and DVD-R as listed on support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-36... - to which the Xbox 360 responds "Your system is up to date".
Essentially I'm currently stuck with an Xbox 360 I can't use on the Xbox Live service I'm paying for :/
If you've had this problem and know the fix, let me know - I'm sure if I could download the most recent Preview Program Firmware it would update as the version number would be newer that the one currently on the machine.

Mine keeps on saying that there is no storage I tried everything from restarting my router calling Xbox and even deleting my storage and still nothing PLZ HELP MR

+tristen I just kept clearing the update (Go to System Settings -> Storage -> press LB RB X LB RB X and yes - this is not the same as clearing system cache), then retrying the update, eventually it went through on wifi after doing this on different days (it was painfully slow to complete). Xbox Support also suggested powering down my router entirely and rebooting it, but that didn't seem to make any difference for me, especially given all other updates before and since have been fine with no changes made to my net connection setup. Hope you manage to get it sorted, I was ready to send my machine back to Microsoft to sort it.

:/ I don't have anything else to suggest to help you out I'm afraid - as I said above, I tried several times on different days and eventually it decided to complete the update.

im trying to do this solution online on google which is that i have to test my xbox live connection and when it gets to xbox live it tells me to do the update plus giving me an error is there an way to fix it?

ToxicgamesYT same problem with me. whenever i start my console it tells me to update. when i try to update after few seconds it says update failed. i cant even connect to xbox live and i cant do anything related to internet. i cant even sign in to xbox live. my game progress is in my xbox live account which i cant sign in and i m not going to start all over again.

Just fixed mine I unplugged my xbox then took out the hard drive After that I plugged the xbox in without the hard drive in And then turned it on it won't turn on and after 2 or 3 times trying to turn it on I put the hard drive back in and then it magically installed the update Hope this helps

Glad I can't get Xbox Live right now. Hopefully the update will be fixed before I can.

Jacob Allen The issue resolved itself eventually and I was able to complete the install - some connectivity issues somewhere in the chain, though I can't pinpoint whether that was at Microsoft's end, mine or somewhere inbetween.
