It's pretty depressing, not to mention worrying, when our commedians like Broken News and Jonathan Pie, deliver more accurate news than our journalists. You have to laugh, otherwise you'd cry.

If the clotted cream was kept in a freezer for 24hrs it would become quite useful - something our government ministers / client journalists should bear in mind should they wish to improve their own performance.

What a brilliant comment on Tory-boy client journalism. They have trashed the concept of accurate, unbiased journalism and traduced its standing in a democratic society. As a retired trade press editor - and state educated - I regret what has happened to our so-called free press. And don’t get me started on the damage that Murdoch and Dacre have done between them.

Idea for a setting that you could use repeatedly - PMQs - it would take some work to build a background of mp’s in the commons - you could do this electronically by replicating a single mp figure or a few mp figures - they could even move or shout here here or sonething or you could use real televised scenes of the commons. Or you could do lobby conversations or in the MP’s tea toom. Im trying to think of a setting as good as your daily covid breifings, which was brilliant. Broken News is good but a bit silly sometimes and relies too much on schoolboy profanities which arent really funny to me. You guys can fo excellent political satire. Have you tried doing the PM’s lectern in the street outside number 10 (though the current incumbent doesnt make announcements that way much). How about inside Rishi’s jet plane? Or insde Rishi’s office in downing street - these would work well. Good luck.

The reason I make suggestions on what you might do is because I see that you are actually deeply moral people on the right side of life. I applaud what you are trying to do and hope you become successful. If you sell out along the way I will be very disappointed. I cant afford to make a contribution - everyone in the world is asking for a contribution - climate change, palestinian campaigns, real socialist campaigns, falsely-imprisoned people, animal protection, greenpeace - how do we choose what is most important to support? Hey, if you are up for a real challenge, try making some material standing in some bombed site in Gaza. Tragedy IS a source for comedy - Blackadder did tragedy (in ww1).
