I checked citizenshipper about shipping a jeep from cali to the bluegrass. Got a bid of $1100 for a 2300 mile trip. Unbelievable how some drivers cut their own throat to get these loads.

What are some websites or places to find fleet owners looking for drivers? Or is there a better search term/phrase? I have been searching google, job sites (indeed etc.), message boards. No matter how i try to word what im looking for, i either get ads from carriers looking for cargo van owner operaters, or jobs for cdl drivers. I have only been able to find one ad (i don't know which site at this point) from a fleet owner looking for drivers, but specifically in MI. Which does me no good in OK. I have even been searching for expedite company websites, and then checking for a careers or job page. I just got a med courier job starting soon, but if for some reason that doesnt seem to fit for me, i want to drive for a fleet owner. Thats more intune with my longterm goals anyways. Thanks for all your content, i really appreciate the information you try to give to all.

Just curious when you say you bid a 1.15 on certain loads is that your all in price? So let's say it's 650 miles so are you bidding 707 and some change? I'm doing some research on gaining my own authority but I'm not really sure on that aspect of the business, thats why I'm asking.
