Lots of people can actually. I didn’t even play in high school and I did this exact drill (mind you in an empty gym) and hit 23/25 3’s and my all time record is 27 consecutive 3’s in a row. Just because you can shoot wide open 3’s in a workout doesn’t mean you’re going to flourish against the best basketball players in the world. He had a garbage shooting percentage in college, the release is slow and he has the pressure of the world on him. I have nothing against the kid and I hope it works out for him but lots of people can do that. Not everyone has his vertical…so he has that going for him but the shot is nothing extraordinary
