Wonder if there might be some link between Mongolian blood pudding and Scotish hagis ?

My gran used to feed us blood sausage. So salty tasting! I liked it but had no clue what it was 😂

The consumption of blood bybtge ancient people of Mongolia and others could possibly be a means of obtaining salt. Maasai, and others, still do it today. It isn't gruesome when thought of in context and understanding the circumstances around it.
