Hi. We hope you could share with us the testimony behind what has happened. God does really shows us His ways are not our ways. We tend to have this "idea" how things should work but He showed through this that He is God. He chooses and do what he do to show us how limited our vision of Him was. What an amazing message from God.

That I didn't like because there are many including myself, that are disconnected for a variety of reasons including PTSD from Iraq, and insurmountable childhood emotional damage. Those that are would have a very truncated understanding of the Christian faith, one where there is only a minimal connection to God. Yes, it's too bad but there are many like us, where the realization of the 'healthy context of discipleship' that Brooke mentioned is not very healthy at all. In fact, it can be very non-existent.

I believe in the power of His Name! These things that might hinder us from working us a body of the Church may discourage us from obeying but God gives us the strength to overcome it thats why we keep pushing through

A fellowship is defined as a conversation to build trust. Listening to speeches on a stage or teachings can be ok but its just one aspect of a gathering. Church buildings should have a lounge and buffet area as well as an auditorium and stage.

It’s not a building, it is a people who just accept to be used by a supernatural God, that invites us in a partnership. In engaging with others, we aim to show a part of God that is inherently in us and for us to see another part of God in others. We are created in His image, everyone of us having a uniqueness to us that portrays our God in a way that no one else will do. I pray that your heart will be turned back to God and that He may stir a desire within you to be part of the body of Christ, and the rest I believe He will lead your steps. @Ophelie M Thank you for your reply When one has courage to stand up in the truth of their light and shine as their own entity in courage, the love and connectedness and goodness and realness is beyond everything you are experiencing in the church and god construct. Make sure that the scaffolding of the beautiful stories of Jesus doesn’t become your home. It is not your home. To build your own value structures takes courage and when you remove the scaffolding, so as to see the view from your new home, nothing is lost. Only added upon. The strength of Jesus and God and all the faith and devotion will remain special and of value. The sacredness of acceptance and the poetry of reality will become wonderment in the mutual unknown. This step into your own home and off the scaffolding is like a child leaving home. Only then is your morals your own morals and actually moral. We are all creators. My hope is that you take courage and manifest your true dynamic self and become more aware and grateful of what religious construct scaffolding is. They are scaffolding, support structure, guides, questions, compasses, invitations not destinations and static rigid answers. The illusion of bliss in sensing that we have found the answer of all answers and meaning to life in Jesus, or Allah kr Buddha is a real thing. It is a real feeling. It is also a reflection of a self organising mechanism of mind that seeks for patterns and when it thinks it has found the missing piece of the puzzle for the full circle to become complete. This quenching feeling or moment of exhaling can be a wonderful marker or accomplishment of reaching a summit in our life, or a hindrance and retardant towards continuing to ask questions and respecting and celebrating the joy of journey. I promise you that the view from your own home, your magnifying of your own unique insights and subconscious from past lived experiences that will surface as impressions we sometimes allocate teleologically to a divine or supernatural entity, will bring insights and tools and help others in ways that could never be done when you make the scaffolding your home. Great joy awaits. Partake of the fruit. Step into the unknown with trust in your own light, not borrowed narratives and bring all the truth you have. I know your own home and courage to build it, will bring more added truth and joy to your journey. The world needs everyone to step into their own homes and bring their unique skill set and service gifts urgently. The scaffolding and guides of Jesus are beautiful. There are many types of scaffolding like Buddhism and atheism and back to Christianity that you may need along your journey. They are all of value and have bought you to this point. It is tempting to stay in the space of theses scaffolding’s as your home, like a child not wanting to leave their parents home. When it is time to build your own, you will know. You will be filled with all the joy from your chapter in Christ and take it with you to your next chapter. Nothing is lost. Take courage on your journey.
