So. Painful.
I really didn't know what to call this. I started it out as a 'brooke & lucas | the fragile and the vulnerability' vid, but then I totally got into it and just couldn't stop editing anymore and it somehow ended up being a 6 (?!) minute long vid about everything they've been through. That's why I called it (oh so original) the tribute.
So you probably wonder why I don't make Brucas vids more often, seeing they're my one and only ultimate otp, well here you go. This is the reason. You don't know in how much pain I've been in these past few weeks, only because I was editing this bloody tearwrecker. I was like a stormy cloud for these past weeks because of this, I think all of my friends had at least asked me once what was going on. That's one reason why. And the second is that I'm kind of afraid of editing them, because I know if my vids not worthy of their epicness, I will hate myself forever. It's like.. no brucas vid is ever good enough to show what they had, what their real, true love was. That's why whenever I start one, I quickly stop and delete it because I always think they're worth more.
Why I decided to upload this? Well, not only because this is the most effort and time I've EVER put in to a video, but because I'm actually kind of proud of it.
I couldn't bring myself to use any scenes of episodes after 4x01, though. It's just too painful that I know they are never getting back together after that breakup scene, so I don't want to cause myself unnecessary pain to watch clips of them being TOO AWESOME together and knowing it's never gonna go back the way it was.
God I hate these two wankers.
(I realize there's one mistake in the text I used, but I didn't feel like rendering it all over again.. please look through it?)
It had to be: 'but it never seemed like you missed me' in stead of the first 'and i guess because of that i stopped missing you'
Anyway, Jenny I hope this did you good. Your stupid cute puppy eyes are not gonna fix the fact that you DESERVED THIS. Okay, you don't know in how much pain I was after your larry vid, so I hope you'll feel a BIT of that pain and I'll be satisfied. Muhaha.

And to Olivia who send me the deleted brucas scene of 3x17, thank you! Ily bbs. I actually started this as your birthday present, but when I finished I couldn't bring myself to wait and upload it on the 8th of November. So see this as a little tease for what you're big present's gonna be.

If someone really watch the show , it was logical that Brooke and lucas was meant to be. They'r completely opposite but strangly drown to each other. They balance each other. Peyton was his first love cause there is something tragic about her which he felt relate to but brooke is the girl who can put a huge smile on his face , who challenge him in so many way , & who can suprise him like no one else. It's because Chad & Sophia broke up that Brucas didn't had their happy ending !

Well in my opinion, Brooke and Lucas are way more opposite and they balance each other. I always thought Lucas and Peyton were very similar, and it was stated on the show that they were both brooding and alike.

Exactly look that's what I always said. Brooke is a very interesting character with an unfathomable depth. At first glance, she is confident, beautiful, smart and funny. But when you observe carefully, she fights for what she wants, she is passionate and strong. She isn't feckless like Peyton. Peyton will make a show of her emotions, she is oversensitive, like collecting everybody sympathy. If you pay attention to Peyton's character, you'll see that she will create a sad, depressing exhibition of her feelings and become all cranky. Brooke, on other hand, is strong and secure. Yes there were times when Brooke felt insecure and lost, but she rose like a phoenix. There is such complexity to Brooke's character. Even then, she always got the stickiest end of everything bad. She never got the kind of respect she deserved. I did not wanna compare Brooke with someone as weak as peyton. But I am compelled because of Lucas. Brooke was perfect for him. She was challenging for Lucas which was good because she was the only girl who brought out his sexy, mysterious side. And I totally agree when u say that Brooke always surprised him and was the only one who put a big smile on his face. Without Brucas, Lucas's character is boring. Like Peyton, he too is a brooding, drowsy, depressing kind of a guy. But Brucas was the reason why we got to see Lucas's true and much more interesting self. Also, I sometimes think that Brooke, who otherwise confident and mentally and emotionally strong, is quite vulnerable and kind of endearing with Lucas. But its still sad, Brooke deserved so much more than she got. Peyton, in spite of being Brooke best friend, cheated on Brooke with Lucas. Lucas is to be blamed equally for betraying such a dignified and a strong person like Brooke.

Because he ended up with Peyton. But the back story is that they broke up in real life (they were married and he cheated with Paris Hilton) and they couldn't work together anymore so the writers changed the story, in the original story they were supposed to end up together

SAME. I ship BOTH but BL IMHO had a more natural, undeniable & stronger chemistry and the love felt more real IMO. The way Lucas looked at brooke, he NEVER looked at peyton that way, I ship them too but I didn't until s6 lol BL was one of my first otps EVER and whether I liked LP or not I felt BL should've been ENDGAME, all the things he said to her in s2-3 and ppl expect us to just GET OVER IT?? You don't look at someone that way, a look he still gave her inbs5 btw, and say things like "the difference us I love you" or "I wanna be with you" or "I'm the guy for you" and have it amount to Lucas choosing peyton! I BELIEVE the only reason is because chopia broke up irl, idgaf what ANYONE SAYS because if they stayed together there's no telling how long BL would've been together because mid s3 is when the trouble started which us when chopia were getting a divorce, simple math! BL were PERFECT TOGETHER.

SAME. but I also ship leyton and brulian but brucas was my first OTH otp and I shipped just them till s6, they were PERFECT TOGETHER and the chemistry was so natural and effortless, idk why but in s4 the chemistry between LP felt forced after two seasons if Lucas declaring brooke as the only one he wanted to be with, yet we're supposed to believe it was always LP?? NO.

Hilarie Burton (Peyton) stated that Brooke and Lucas were supposed to end up together and Peyton with Jake. But due to Sophia and Chad’s (Brooke and Lucas) breakup in real life the writers changed it to make it less awkward for them. So that’s why they planned Lucas and Peyton to end up together then 🥺 Ps. I JUST FINISHED OTH AND THE FIRST 3 SEASONS WERE THE BEST. THE SHOW ENDED WHEN BRUCAS BROKE UP. IT WASN'T THE SAME ANYMORE. NALEY AND BRUCAS ARE THE BEST COUPLES FOR ME. jenny e I don't think it's that. Mark ( the producer) said for the very beginning that Peyton and Lucas belonged together, but I don't ship leyton at all. BRUCAS ALL THE WAY!

Leyton is alright but Brucas is a million times better. It seems like the writers sort of forced a random break up between Brooke and Lucas, like after everything they've been through it's not in Brooke's nature to just stop. Then Peyton and look got closer because Peyton kept being in danger and Lucas kept saving her, like that was the main reason for their chemistry. But Brooke and Lucas didn't need terrible situations to fall in love, they just did it on their own.

This video is so epic. It makes me cry thinking about all those moments back when I first watched OTH. I am a huge Leyton lover, but there will never come a day where I will not think that Brooke and Lucas could have been endgame. I just feel they were at the wrong time. Like in any other "universe" they would have made it. And I think that is what makes their relationship so much more tragic and epic and real. I really really love this video ❤️❤️

I can't say enough how perfect this video is. Besides Naley, Brucas is my otp of all time. I LOVE them together and I fully believe that if things hadn't fallen through with Chad and Sophia in real life, they would have ended up together. They were perfection and their chemistry is undeniable. I never liked leyton together and there isn't a person in this world that can convince me that they were a better couple than brucas. FANTASTIC video! the best I've ever seen by far.

This is one of the most beautiful videos I have ever seen that showcases the truth about their relationship. I get chills EVERY time I watch this. The editing, the music, the scenes and voiceovers are all perfect... it all really captures everything that hurts right in the feels. And I'm not even a Brucas fan, but I am a HUGE fan of Brooke, and Lucas was such a huge part of her story for so long and she went through so much amazing development mainly from their relationship. I will always come back to this video.

No seriously I hate how the writers when they chose to redirect the writing back to leyton they did everything to erase what Lucas had with Brooke they even had Lucas calling Peyton “pretty girl” when everyone knows that was something he coined specifically for Brooke. If you have to downplay another couple to build up the other one then obviously they aren’t that great in comparison… Leyton was pretty much rushed together after Brooke broke up with Lucas .. their story wasn’t at all well developed despite the writers trying to force the audience into believing that it was.

This is the definition of a masterpiece. watching it in 2016 and it's still such a masterpiece! I currently discovered this show *yeah, I know I should feel ashamed* xD and I'm in season 5 and I still can't believe that they didn't end up together. It was beautiful love story, full of passion, their chemistry was so undeniable and honestly Leyton never had this kind of connection in the entire show 💔

THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING THAT I HAVE EVER WATCHED!!! Its very hard for me to come and search for Brucas videos, because I usually get too DEPRESSED afterwards but I'm so happy that I found this!! Brucas are my favourite OTP of any tv show. Beautiful video about my One Tree Hill otp! This was heartbreaking to watch. Your editing is amazing and you really captured a lot of their moments together. I really do think they were initially endgame if Chad hadn't screwed up with Sophia in real life. We'll always have the memories though and thankfully videos like this! :)

OMG!! I'm not okay, this crushed me even though I am a Leyton fan. This is truly a masterpiece and I can't believe someone disliked it! This is really so perfect!! The voiceovers and scene choices are so perfect! Can you send me the scene of them on the river court please, I love that scene. Also I love how you used the commentary from the episode as a Voiceover. I love the eyebrow thing. I hate you for making this but I also love you so much! I love the fast parts that then suddenly slow down.

Lucas stopped loving Peyton after s1, Brooke was the one he was in love with, but she was so scared and "traumatized" after the cheating episode that the second Peyton came back in the picture she gave him up, she couldn't believe that he was in love with her, even if it was the case, so Lucas got back with Peyton and ended up falling in love with her again, but his feelings for Brooke never disappeared just like her feelings for him never disappeared. They are the perfect example of "soulmates don't always end up together"

this is so special, these two broke my heart, they were my otp too, and yes the quote you used by sophia about brooke, im just, damn, thats exactly why it didnt work! and brooke just falls so hard and lucas wouldnt understand that, why she was always so insecure about them, bc he meant everything to her and she couldnt bare that he didnt feel exactly like that, that he didnt show her that. and guhhh that was perfect, seriously babe, you dont even know, this is your best video
