Brother MFC J497DW Unboxing, Setup & Review 

I used to use an Epson ET-2550 ru-vid.comUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.

My yellow won't detect ink also, where is the toner located? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have this exact same printer for about three years now. The only downside is that the ink runs out fast. In about 4 months it needs to be replace(color) black ink needs to be replaced every 3 months. I use this printer 25 times a month.

I just found this channel. I’m trying to set up this printer and it just doesn’t want to work. It’s not picking up the paper and the paper os loaded but, it isn’t printing. It also says to remove the paper tray and after removing it it doesn’t do anything else…no other prompts. Thinking of send it back… Any thoughts?

What's the difference between this printer and the Brother MFC-J1010DW?

So all 4 cartridges are required to print a copy a document?because with some printer you don't necessarily need all cartridges(colors)

I just got this printer and it has a tendency to jam in the paper feeder mechanism, when you open the paper tray the back side of the paper has appeared to not be fed via the little rubber turning gear. No tears/paper obstructing the feed. Any advice on fixing it?

Hi, I've got this one yesterday, and this is the second one, the previous has been returned for a problem as when I plugging the landline into LINE jack, all the phone in the house turning deaf, no tone at all.... I've called tech, and he told me to return it for defective. Then I exchanged with this one,..... and the same thing happens....I don't know how to fix this problem, now I have to use the old one MFC-5100c, it's ok no problem at all....???? please tell me what am I doing wrong,? I like this model and don't want to return it for the same reason

You took too long advertising than going to the thing we're interested in. It was good you do the important part and put in your ads, that way many of us would be glad to spread your message, but for now this sucks with too much talking of no interest.

Dude you skipped sooooo many steps. I can't even find where to plug the USB cord into the machine. I appreciate the effort but all you did was waste my time because you skipped the entire installation.

Do not buy this printer. One of the color cartridge's go dry? Well too bad, now you can't print BLACK ink on your BLACK & WHITE only memo or letter. Obvious money scheme, when I am done with this printer, I am tossing the damn thing.
