In this video you will see how easy it is to enter text, change fonts, set label widths and then more on switching between upper & lower case characters and using tabs on your Brother PTD210 P-touch printer. We'll also show you how to delete text and label settings or just text if you want to keep personalized settings you have setup for a specific label. Stop wasting tape, set the width of your labels...but there will always be some as the printer needs to clear the machine from the printhead to the cutter blade.
The Brother PT-D210 label maker may be small but it is feature packed and easy to use.

I don't understand what buttons you hit to preview the label. And why are you flying through the instructions as if those who are watching are not trying to follow along?

Hi, is it possible to have two different font sizes for first and second lines. I am using 9mm tape, so cannot use the 'name label' option it seems. So far I can only manage to print both lines at the same font size. Hope you can help.

How do you change the color? My labels are white letters with a black background. I would like the opposite. Do I need a different tape?

I'm trying to figure out how to center, if it is possible, on a PT-1750. Is it possible? I have two lines of text and would like the top line centered over the bottom instead of left aligned. Yes, I know it is an older model. 😃

I previously had access to a military style font that no longer appears on my label maker, i only see 14 fonts now, any help?

The PTD210 only has 14 fonts: Helsinki, Brussels, US, Florida, Belgium, San Diego, Los Angeles, Calgary, Adams, Atlanta, Brunei, Germany, Sofia, Istanbul. If you have a label printer that connects to a PC or MAC - you can use any font you have on that machine.....label on!

I’ve been wanting to get a label printer for my small business for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did ! This machine is great ru-vid.comUgkxw55tQTywUAAOsbrlwxONZULry77sFF1Q and the blue/green color matches the rest of the accents in my office. My favorite part is how small the footprint is. It’s less than 1/4 the size of my regular printer.Set up was fairly easy. Seller will email you a link with video instructions Which I found to be more helpful than the written instructions. I use a Mac and had no issues. They even included an adaptor for USB to USB-c which is great because I’m always losing mine! I had a few issues getting the labels to print properly and wasted quite a few sheets. You need to play around with the settings to get everything adjusted just right. If you have the wrong settings, it’ll crop off the edges or feed through blank labels. These aren’t issues with the machine though, just user error.

The purpose of the tab button is to either indent a label, or give a little extra space between words or sentences. It all just depends on what you're doing with the machine and what kind of format you need for the label. Same as typing on the computer...sometimes you want the tab feature.

This would have been helpful if the host didn't assume that a viewer already knows how to use this machine or perhaps a typewriter. I don't know how to use either, and clicked on video hoping for some instruction. Why speak at 300mph? Time spent on tabs, as an example: I don't even know why I'd want that feature. No real explanations. Frustrating and ultimately useless. FWIW, I'm a certified IT professional and can fly through a Windows Registry leaving you blindsided. What would be the point? Would you learn anything? Same as this video.

This tutorial would be a wonderful refresher, but for someone who has never even touched the power button, not so much. You didn't even really go over the menu. Sorry, but am I the only one that's still in the dark?

How can I do really really tiny letters? I'm talking like 2-3mm wide letters from top to bottom. I am wanting to label colors on a watercolor palette and I need the labels to be really really small but able to be read.

I think your best bet would be to use the smallest font available and cut the label to the desired size using scissors.

For a non tech savvy person, these videos aren't helpful. You talk and hit buttons so fast I have to keep going back and rewatching. Plus you hit buttons without explaining what you're doing, assuming the person watching knows.
