Yep! My mother at her wedding in 2015 wore a dress with sleeves and it was perfect!! I was maid of honor (which annoyed one of my sisters quite a bit) and I was the only one that went to the dress appt. Less people is more at these appointments and sleeves can be gorgeous.

Too many people have a huge fantasy of him as being "THE" diva of the wedding dress industry, and need to get some working brains into their stupid skulls that he can't possibly dress every freaking female who's looking for a gown!!!! He's one person, and he isn't able to clone 10,000 of himself in order to satisfy YOUR idiotic fantasy! And for your information, Gok doesn't own the store he works in, nor does he have any say in the merchandise that lands there. He's nothing but another consultant, just like everyone else on these shows.

When top of the dress is constructed well it can give enough support if that's your worry. On some people straps can look bad and shorten them optically. There's no golden rule, it all depends on overall proportions, not one body part. In my opinion, long sleeves don't look good very often because they have to be executed perfectly to do so. That rarely shows when you're in sample size, but this may be just my impression. The siblings are adorable, there's a lot of love in them and you can tell it's not just because of the sister's wedding.

@@freyja6360 I still think some sort of straps/sleeveless/even 3/4 sleeves, are best for ladies who are blessed on top, and I agree that it does depend overall proportions which way to go on that. If the person is well endowed even the well constructed strapless can make them look droopy, a little extra lifting support helps. I do like strapless on some people. I'm not a fan with long sleeves either or cap sleeves they look like football gear. In the end, it's always what the bride loves, it's her day. Yes agree, love their brother and sister relationship, it's really sweet.

I disagree about David though. He CAN be condescending and disrespectful of the budget that a bride sets. This episode was happy and sweet all around.

Sorry to hear that. I had that occur with both my daughters at different times. What I did both times (after attempts to talk) was send them a letter so I could say what I wanted without getting emotional and basically say "I love you totally and forever, and just know that if or when you want to talk I welcome you with open arms". Some folks don't react well to being pursued. Anyway it worked. They eventually each contacted me when they were ready and we were able to rebuild our relationships. They are now 41 and 38 and I have strong relationships with each and my 4 grandkids. Best to you, Sarah!
